Due to the loss during the pandemic, the plans I had to modify suites and entry system were put on hold indefinitely. The updates are needed to keep the venue relevant to the needs and preferences of guests.

I have the opportunity to sell baked goods out of the kitchen at the Inn in compliance with Cottage Food Laws in Wisconsin. I have an excellent opportunity with a fairly well known actor who owns a coffee company. He has enlisted my business to custom create a treat to sell under his coffee brand. The actor is Scott Patterson - best known for his role on TV's Gilmore Girls. He found out about the Astor House in a round-about way and ended up asking my wife to custom create a treat to sell with his coffee brand Scotty P's Big Mug Coffee. Currently the Astor House is the only place to purchase "Scotty's Biscottis." I hope to expand on this but need to hire staff to take over my responsibilities in turning rooms so I can focus on next steps with Biscotti sales. Investing in this business will help make it possible to expand the opportunity with Scotty's Biscottis. It will also help ensure travelers will continue to be able to enjoy staying at this amazing and historic home in Green Bay. It's an investment in history and development. A successful venture with Scotty's Biscottis will create jobs locally as well.

Self Identified Competition
I own the one and only B&B in Green Bay. My main competitors are St Brendan's Inn, Hotel Northland and Kohler Lodge, all of whom offer accommodations at a similar price point. None of them offer the type of hosting that is offered at the Astor House. The experience offered here is unlike large lodging places. The inn is charming and worthy of being preserved.
