Vulcans Forge LLC | Application Preview
Vulcans Forge LLC is seeking government grants to establish a dedicated training facility and acquire essential equipment for working with veterans, front line workers, and community members. Currently operating from home, the business aims to create a safer environment for training, addressing concerns related to insurance and liability.
The business plan focuses on expanding outreach and demonstrating unique training and nutrition approaches, distinguishing itself from large corporate gyms. With a commitment to personalized training, Vulcans Forge intends to hire veterans, promoting growth within the company while fostering a supportive fitness community.
The founder, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, shares a personal journey of weight loss and fitness passion, emphasizing a tailored approach to meet individual needs rather than a one-size-fits-all model. This goal includes working closely with disabled veterans to create a comfortable fitness space.
In a competitive landscape dominated by major corporations like Anytime Fitness, Snap Fitness, and Planet Fitness, Vulcans Forge plans to offer a unique membership model. Members will benefit from reduced monthly fees based on their frequency of visits, ensuring a cost-effective and motivating environment that encourages regular attendance.
Approval of this funding will enable Vulcans Forge to create a welcoming and personalized fitness experience, significantly benefiting veterans and the community.

Funding Usage
I plan to use this funding to secure a facility and necessary equipment to begin training and working with members and veterans who join. I have been doing this from home but for insurance and liability reasons it would be better to have a facility

Business Plan
I plan to have a bigger outreach to veterans, front line workers and everyday people. I want to have proven my training and nutrition skills to my community and prove that I am different from the major companies. I want to hire veteran members to grow with the company I am a usmc veteran that served for 8 years. Before I could join I had to lose 130 lbs. I had a friend introduce me to a personal trainer and nutritionist and I lost that weight in 6 months. Ever since then fitness has been my passion. Unlike franchise gyms and web based meal plans, I know that everyone is unique and has different needs. Not a one size fits all situation. I plan to get personal with my clients as far as listen to their concerns and work one on one with them. I plan to work with other disabled veterans to help them find an outlet in fitness. Some place they can feel comfortable and not always stressed. I want my gym and training to be a place that even someone new to fitness loves coming to.

Self Identified Competition
My 3 competitors are all big corporations such as Anytime fitness, Snap fitness and planet fitness I am one on one with my clients. Everyone is not treated as one size fits all. My gym membership will actually become cheaper monthly the more times you come a month. For example: $60 membership but if you come everyday for a month your membership would only be $30 ( pricing not set yet). Everyday you come it deducts a certain amount off the bill. And then restarts the next month
