  • Business Plan

We do not have a Gluten Free Bakery anywhere in our are and will become Verified Gluten Free. There also isn't a Juice and Smoothie Bar in our town, so we will grow by word of mouth, giving back to our community through donations, hiring employees as soon as we are established and through social media. We would also pursue offering gluten free items in our school district and working with our local college, Nicolet Area Technical College, to perhaps offer Gluten-Free and/or Vegan cooking classes. There is a need for Gluten-Free offerings, with cases of Celiac Disease growing larger every year and many people choosing to eat Vegan. My daughter and I started our business because she has a 6 year old daughter with Celiac Disease. Kate is the youngest of four and is very sad when they go out to eat, or take a trip and stop for a snack and isn't able to eat any of the offerings. I love to cook and bake and completed some Culinary classes in the past, before switching to Paramedic. I have been cooking and baking Kate gluten-free food for the last few years. I no longer work as a Paramedic however, my daughter and I are both Volunteer Firefighters and I am a Medical First Responder. She is currently enrolled and will be responding with me to medical emergencies in our township. We strive to help people and there are many ways to do it. Feeding people brings us joy and purpose.

  • Self Identified Competition

The only competitor is in the town 30 miles north of us and is a juice bar. The business recently moved to a larger space because it has done very well. Considering the juice bar in the next town, our location is different and our population is greater. There isn't a gluten free bakery within hours of us. We have also been approached to provide gluten-free bread for a local restaurant.
