Cranes Coffee | Application Preview
Cranes Coffee is seeking government grants to support their new coffee business by securing working capital and purchasing essential equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and coolers, to establish an inviting coffee bar.
The company's business plan targets a minimum of 60 coffee cups sold daily, with expected gross sales ranging from $15,000 to $20,000 monthly. Once the coffee shop is established, they plan to diversify their offerings by introducing smoothies and acquiring alcohol permits for late-night events. Expansion to other small cities, such as Acworth, is also in the works to open additional locations.
The owner, a recently retired and disabled Army Veteran, expresses a strong commitment to building a legacy for his family. He emphasizes his determination, capability, and drive to ensure the success of the business.
Cranes Coffee will face competition from local establishments like Coco Coffee, which offers limited options and focuses on vintage clothing, The Fountain, which lacks quality and a drive-thru, and Starbucks, with its corporate presence. Cranes Coffee positions itself as a local, affordable alternative, highlighting a community-focused approach.
The competitive edge of Cranes Coffee lies in the owner’s willingness to go the extra mile, a strong network of local connections, and plans to host specialty events that will attract more customers and build community ties.

Self Identified Competition
Coco Coffee - They have 2 tables and limited option, They sell vintage clothing and coffee, they don't have the focus on one task. The Fountain - They began selling coffee off the strip in Downtown, however they lack quality as well as a drive thru which I have. Starbucks - We are a local owned, better and more affordable option. Who doesn't like local? I am willing to do what it takes to get any and all jobs done. I have a vast amount of connections in the area and I will continue to network to make more connections as well as host specialty events.
