Savage eatery llc 734206 | Government Grant Application

Savage eatery llc | Application Preview

Savage Eatery LLC is seeking government grants ranging from $124,800 to $166,400 to support its startup phase. The owner plans to launch the business from her home kitchen and aims to eventually acquire a truck or a dedicated kitchen space. The vision includes creating a community-focused establishment that will not only provide meals but also serve as a teaching center for cooking skills, specifically targeting children and youth.

As a single mother of six, the owner is passionate about helping her children and the community learn cooking skills, countering the prevalent trend of fast food reliance. Her goals include offering cooking lessons to youth, providing hot meals for the homeless, and establishing a space that promotes culinary education. She has practical experience, having taught her older children to cook since they were nine years old, and is motivated by the desire to create generational wealth for her family.

The business will primarily compete with 24-hour fast food options but distinguishes itself by offering home-cooked meals late at night, which are filling and affordable, in contrast to the smaller and pricier portions available from competitors. This unique offering positions Savage Eatery to capture a niche market that values quality home-cooked meals.

  • Funding Usage

High end of this would be 166,400 the low end would be 124,800. With those estimates I tried to come up with a middle ground that would be enough to get all my supplies as well as get me started for couple of months .

  • Business Plan

I am starting off in the kitchen of my own house and would love to get a truck or even a building that has its own kitchen. Ultimately if this passion of mine can take off I want to incorporate the community. As I stated I am starting from my kitchen. I am a single mom with six kids and nowadays kids don’t know how to cook. Everything is fast food. It’s a passion for me but eventually I want to have the community experience it. I want to be able to own a space or building That will allow me to expand and teach kids how to cook again . A place that will allow me to welcome the homeless for a hot meal or troubled youth can come learn regular cooking lessons to survive . Having six kids at home isn’t always easy . My older two have been cooking since they were nine. The most important reason I want to be invested in is because I’m trying to give me kids generational wealth. I don’t want them to struggle like I did.

  • Self Identified Competition

Any fast food place that’s open 24:7 . I’m offering home cooked meals after bar close. It’s filling and decently priced for The serving size . Other places are expensive and small portions. Not filling .
