I plan to advertise across all social media platforms. I am planning to offer promos every month for new customers for the first 5 years. I plan to attend conferences and do more advertising at these events. In 5 years (Likely sooner) I want to be spread across 3 counties in Florida. I am trying to be the best family business in the region. Many people in my region complain that the big companies are not doing a good job on their lawns and I want to give people an option that they can be happy with. Self Identified Competition
Turf Science - Started a few years ago as a family run business. Fairway Lawns - Very nice company and offer a wide variety of services but not local. LawnStarter - The do a great job but most focus on mowing/trimming and landscape. What makes me different from most of the competitors in my region is that they try to offer to many services. The saying "Jack of all Trades, Master of None" was ever relevant, it would be so for lawn care. We are mastered in chemical lawn treatment and that is full focus. These other companies offer those services but don't specialize in it. That's what makes us different.
