Funding Usage
Purchase of land for first site of a Crossroad Center. This will enable us to start looking for other grants locally for construction. If get less than the 100K woould be used to furthur awareness to get more grants or donations, if get more would be to start or complete construction of first Crossroad Center. Short definition of a Crossroad Center is a facility designed like a retirement facitily as a temporary low cost living place for people in debt with in house debt counselor to get them on track. Not interested in loans as wouldn't be able to provide low cost living with a mortgage.

Business Plan
Once we have one or more Crossroads Centers and other low cost properties that provide a source of income, we use those funds to keep expanding in a community as well as spread outward to others as well as continued donations, events and scrip cards. Also when construction begins getting colleges and tech schools involved as a way to practice their skills in real world as part of their classes with their instructors and a contractor on hand to add to their resumes and keep our costs down. We have plans other than low cost housing to continue to furthur our mission as we grow in a community, but as trying to start a national non-profit, it has eliminated many of the easier ways to generate funds than a Wisconsin-only based non-profit such as raffles where the organization can get desired items such as electronic(ex.PS5, XBox, etc), or get donations from car dealerships or companies to sell tickets for a Poker Run prizes or a 50/50 raffle at events such as 4th or July festivals. Even if promise to use the funds received from such only in the state they came from. So it is harder to get that initial boost without finding people or a company that can provide a larger grant that believes in your vision when it is only a concept at this point.

Self Identified Competition
Habitat for Humanity would be competitor to our early stage development. As we grow in a community and get into the other areas, would become more dissimilar. Habitat for Humanity gets donations and builds a house at a time for a family and gives it to them rather than low cost housing that cn be a dwelling for an individual, family, multifamily, or transitional that also puts renewable energy(solar, wind, water) into the housing as well to lower energy costs.
