Innovation Computers Innovation Computers | Government Grant Application

Innovation Computers | Application Preview

Innovation Computers is seeking government grants to fund several key components of their business plan. They are requesting $35,000 for equipment related to mixing and bottling, as well as $96,000 for working capital to manage cash flow. Additional funds include $34,000 earmarked for marketing activities and $85,000 for raw materials and packaging supplies.

The business plan focuses on delivering a technological innovation aimed at improving crop health, particularly for orange, tangerine, and grapefruit farmers in Florida. The technology, known as MOM, enables the effective delivery of 17 essential micronutrients, which help plants combat diseases like HLB while minimizing harmful reactive oxygen species that can lead to plant death. It is expected to take about a year for farmers to recognize the full benefits of this product.

Approval of this funding is justified by projected net profits of 6 to 8% and a gross margin of 22%. Additionally, the project aims to create 12 new jobs, positioning itself as a potential game changer for the state's agricultural sector.

In terms of competition, the fertilizer market is currently dominated by 11 major corporations, which typically do not offer a comprehensive solution for all 17 minerals needed for optimal plant growth. While some fertilizers use chelating agents to combine a few minerals, only the MOM technology effectively integrates and releases all 17 micronutrients. Research in Argentina has shown that this approach leads to faster plant development.

Innovation Computers differentiates itself by providing the only fertilizer with verifiable quantities of all necessary minerals and a patented delivery system that aligns with plant biology. Additionally, none of its components pose a risk of environmental pollution, making it a more sustainable option compared to existing products.

  • Business Plan

17 MInerlas estimates it will take a full year for farmers to appreciate the benefits of this technology. Not only are all the minerals readily available but the most significant benefit is the micronutrients are delivered in a médium through the MOM technology that is similar to the plant's own's composition. In the case of the greening disease the plants would be able to improve their ability obtain the micronutrients and more effectively combat HLB (Huanglonbing) induce bacteria (Candidatus Liberobacter Asiatics) and avoid the overproduction of defensive reactive oxygen species that eventually kills the plant. This project has a 6 to 8% net profit and a 22% gross maegin prjection. With the investment 12 jobs will be created but the most significant benefit is the indication this technology could potentially be a game changer for Florida's quintessential industry, oranges, tangerines and grapefruits.

  • Self Identified Competition

The fertilizer is dominated by 11 corporations with sales ranging from over one hundred millions to several billion dollars. None of these corporations are able to produce a fertilizer that contains verifiable quantities of all 17 minarlas needed. Some formulations are based on organic material. The issue is the 17 minerals are relatively incompatible in a colloid solution. It is possible to have a fertilizer with up to 7 minerals by using chelating agents, Only the MOM patented technology allows for the presence and the effective release of the micronutrients. IT is because of the effective release that studies in Argentina of limes have yielded optimal and faster [plant development. The farmers are forced to combine several products for different crops, but still the fertilizer manufacturers have not solved completely the optimal delivery of micronutrients. The top competitors are: The Mosaic Company, Yara International, Nutrient Ltd, Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile, Haifa Group. Koch Industries, Willbur Ellis Corporation, Scotts Miracle Gro, CF Industries, The Anderson's Inc. and ICL Fertilizer. 17 Minerals is unique in two ways from thousands of products available in the market. Firstly, it is the only fertilizer that contains verifiable amounts of all 17 minerals required for optimal plant growth. Secondly, it has a patented delivery medium that is 100% compatible with the plant's own biological composition. lastly none of its components poses a pollution hazard of any kind.
