Phoenix Impact Inc | Application Preview
Phoenix Impact Inc. is seeking government grants to support administrative expenses, payroll, and the sponsorship of at-risk youth and women in their martial arts programs. Founded to promote personal development, the organization boasts a highly skilled team that delivers top-notch martial arts instruction in Arizona. Their mission is to create a supportive environment where at-risk individuals can achieve their full potential.
The business plan aims to impact 60 to 100 at-risk participants through a paid sponsorship initiative. Each $6,999 Community Team Sponsorship covers training, uniforms, and competition fees for four selected youth for one year. This program is supported by donations from adult memberships.
Funding approval would enhance community engagement through corporate donations, fostering employee morale and a positive workplace culture. Employees tend to feel more connected to companies that show a genuine interest in their communities.
In terms of competition, Phoenix Impact faces other martial arts schools, such as Gracie Barra and Gustavo Dantas Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy. However, their status as a 501c3 non-profit allows them to provide opportunities to those who might otherwise be unable to participate. The focus on developing confident leaders through their Kids Jiu-Jitsu programs underscores their commitment to personal growth and community cultivation.
