zensuality inc dba MIXT Fine Things | Application Preview
Zensuality Inc, doing business as MIXT Fine Things, is applying for government grants to navigate the financial challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting mandatory shutdown in California. The company is currently facing zero income and has encountered difficulties with its landlord regarding rental payments. Without this funding, they risk closing their business and declaring bankruptcy.
The business plan focuses on expanding their offerings to the community, creating more job opportunities, and improving both gross profit margin and net profit.
MIXT Fine Things is uniquely positioned to receive grant approval because it supports over 22 small business subtenants who rely on the operational income for their survival. The company is woman-owned and actively promotes women in business. They collaborate with select non-profits to provide necessary support, contributing to the economic vitality of the community and state. The business boasts high gross sales and generates over $75,000 in sales tax, which benefits the state.
In terms of competition, they do not have any direct competitors in their local area as a brick-and-mortar operation. Their competitive edge lies in their status as a small business that fosters community support, offering unique services that resonate with local customers who prefer to support their fellow community members.

Funding Usage
we will use the funding to continue to stay in business and pay our business expenses during the COVID-19 California State mandatory shut down of our business. We have suffered zero income during this time and our landlord will not work with us on the rental payments. If we do not receive a grant we will be forced to close our small business and declare bankruptcy.

Business Plan
We will continue to expand our offerings to the community, employ more people in the community, grow our gross profit margin and our net profit. We support many small business subtenants who rely on the income they make within our business for survival. We promote and support women in business and are a solely owned woman business. We work closely with select non-profits to help support their business and provide the support we can to them. By investing in us, over 22 small businesses will be able to continue to be in business and contribute to the economic well-being of our community and State. Our gross sales are high and we collect over $75,000 in sales tax. Therefore the State benefits from this sales tax that they can then make part of the State fund and help others. We have a long track record in the community and a high reputation for being an upstanding small business.
-
Self Identified Competition
We do not have any direct competitors within our community that are also brick-and-mortar businesses. We offer a unique opportunity to the community to support a small woman owned business. Because we are a small business and not a large corporate entity, the community offers their support separate and apart from those such businesses. They come to us to support one of their own members of the community and appreciate what we have to offer and our contributions in supporting other small businesses.
