Low Country Camper service and rentals 87-3092688 | Government Grant Application

Low Country Camper service and rentals | Application Preview

Low Country Camper Service and Rentals is seeking government grants to expand its operations by purchasing two additional campers for rental along the coast. The funding will also support the installation of fifth wheel hitches in their trucks and promotional efforts to increase local visibility.

The business plan focuses on targeted advertising and building relationships with local campgrounds such as Ocean Lakes, Pirate Land, and Myrtle Beach Travel Park. By meeting with campground operators and decision-makers, Low Country aims to showcase its services and establish a presence in the area.

The justification for the funding lies in the high demand for local camper rentals, as there are seven large campgrounds nearby that have expressed concerns about insufficient rental options. Additionally, these campgrounds face challenges in transporting campers from storage to customer sites, creating an opportunity for Low Country to fill this gap.

In terms of competition, the primary competitor is Tippy Toe Camper Rentals, which relies on repossessed campers and does not provide servicing or transport for rentals. In contrast, Low Country can address the lengthy service backlogs faced by campgrounds, especially during peak seasons, by offering timely rental solutions.

Overall, the proposal outlines a clear strategy to meet local rental needs and capitalize on service inefficiencies, positioning Low Country Camper Service and Rentals as a valuable resource in the local camping community.

To purchase two more camper's to rent here along the coast. Fifth wheel hitches in the trucks, and advertisement in the area here to get the name out.

  • Business Plan

Advertisement, local faces in the local camp grounds here on the coast, Ocean Lakes, Pirate Land, Myrtle Beach Travel Park. Sitting with these CEO's and operators and meeting them face to face and let them know the services we offer. We are located near 7 large camp grounds and all of these have rental complaints as to not having enough local rentals. they also have issues with getting campers placed on the camp site from storage for the customer. This would be fixing a need in this area.

  • Self Identified Competition

Tippy toe camper rentals. He got into the rentals using repo campers. He doesn't service the campers nor transport any except his campers. All the camp grounds have service departments that are back up for months. Every summer the back log of service and movement of campers get booked out for months in advance. Would love to add the new customers that just find out about us with out the wait. Pretty much every camp ground or dealer is backed up for service and transport now and it's the slow time of the year.
