  • Funding Usage

First, I would buy a new computer. Then I would travel to meet new clients in person and secure the fee agreements. I would hire a media designer to build me a website and ensure that my company was visible and came up first in online searches. I would also use the funds to sponsor my job postings. After that, I would use the money to assist any of my candidates that just needs to catch a break. For example, help provide any required items they're missing in order to be placed with a job. Such as clothing, pieces of uniform like a chef coat, a haircut, shoes, or even just an updated resume. It's often something small or only one thing, that's keeping someone from getting the job they want and I'd love to be able to help with that too. Once my business is established, I will continue to help the community by providing those little things, that may be the only thing keeping them from getting the job they love too.

  • Business Plan

Hiring many additional recruiters below me to assist with sourcing new clients and placing additional permanent salaried positions. I worked in the restaurant industry for 27 years and eventually decided that it was time for me to be able to put my daughter to bed at night. I was always away from home and being a single working mother was taking a toll on me and my daughter too. So I applied for a banquet bartender position with a staffing company to pay the bills. Instead of being hired for the bartender position I was applying for, the hiring manager said "no, I have something else in mind for you." I was hired as their very first Hospitality Recruiter. My new found passion had just begun AND I could work from home and be with daughter every day! I worked for this company for 8 years and became the BEST Hospitality Recruiter. I recruited so well and hired so many staff members, that the staffing company had expanded into 8 additional states. The real trick was that I could relate so well with everyone I spoke with. People naturally trust me easily and I never judge anyone. By gaining the trust of all these people, I was able to help them get back on their feet and I was able to hire the applicants that other employers had overlooked or turned down. I could find a job for anyone. I loved connecting with each applicant and learning all about them. I felt like a matchmaker. It felt so good that I was able to help make a difference in people's lives, just by lining them up with a well fitting job. The owner of the company was so impressed with my skills, that he asked me to "build him an army" of other recruiters like me. I built him that army of recruiters and it was the most diverse group of deserving individuals. When I put in my resignation notice, he thanked me profusely and said "this company would never be where it is today if it weren't for you."
