Luxuria LLC ICA-002087-2023 | Government Grant Application

Luxuria LLC | Application Preview

Luxuria LLC is seeking government grants to enhance its operations and reach a broader customer base. The funding will be used primarily to expand the company’s social media presence through boosted posts and targeted ads, which are integral for brand visibility. Additionally, the business aims to establish temporary pop-up shops in various cities to attract new clientele and explore different demographics.

The application includes plans to hire an employee, invest in local marketing efforts such as publications like Desert Guide, and maintain a financial buffer for security and stress relief. Luxuria LLC is also looking to increase its merchandise inventory, supporting local artists and family businesses by stocking unique items that can't be sourced elsewhere.

With over 20 years of experience in successfully managing other businesses, the founder of Luxuria LLC has recently realized their dream of establishing their own store. The business is distinctive in that it not only offers vintage home goods but also promotes a family-owned onyx mine from Mexico and showcases handmade fine jewelry by artists across the U.S. This commitment ensures each piece is unique, culturally rich, and supports local artisans.

Luxuria LLC operates in a competitive landscape where, for fine jewelry, it is one of the few options in Riverside County, and it competes with local home décor stores like Christopher Anthony LTD and REX. The business's competitive edge lies in its unique blend of culture, craftsmanship, and community support, offering customers a diverse selection that emphasizes inclusivity and artistic expression. The ultimate goal is to spread joy through art and beauty, whether through affordable handmade goods or exclusive, high-end jewelry.

  • Funding Usage

Expand social media presence - boosting posts and creating ads costs money and adds up but social media is cruscial, open more temporary pop up shops in different markets and cities to gain new clients and tap into new demographics, hire an employee, invest in local marketing like publications such as the Desert Guide ( $1800 per year ), PS I Love You or Palm Springs Life, have some extra funds in the bank as a further safety net and to relieve stress, of course buy more merchandise so some purchasing power would be great as I support local artists and family businesses so I'd have the ability to help others by receiving help for myself!

  • Business Plan

Expand my social media presence ( i can boost posts and pay to have ads circulate more but it costs and ads up,as well as paying or gifting influencers to promote me ), continue to purchase more unique merchandise to have a larger selection for my customers, bring in new jewelry designers that want to be carried in my store ( but more merchandise means higher insurance which is a cost ), add an employee, continue to expand on doing pop up shops to reach more demographics in new areas, travel to more trade shows for instance the Tuscon Gem Show in AZ, invest/expand my interior design and sourcing services After over 20 years of running and operating other peoples business' successfully and making my former bosses lots of money, I finally decided to take the leap and fullfill my dreams. And I have been totally self funded, but I'm at the point of needing help now. I talked about and dreamt about opening my own store for 15 years and a year and a half ago got the courage to jump! My business is unique, in that I not only sell vintage home items, but I support a family business who has an onyx mine in Mexico. They create beautiful items for me that cannot be gotten anywhere else in Southern Cali. Its great because I'm giving my money to a family instead of buying from a giant company or chain. I also only carry handmade fine jewelry by different artists from around the US. Each brings a different culture and story into their collections and they specialize in one of a kind pieces, so I truly am supporting local artists and other artists spread throughout the country. Nothing manufactured, everything very special and different. And I am lucky to have a collective of artists and vendors that are from different backrounds, countries and ethnicities, so there's a real feeling on inclusivity on that level. somethings for everyone. My ultimate hope and goal is to share beauty / art ( in all forms ) with the world, to bring happiness and a smile to peoples faces. Whether a handmade onyx bowl for $150 or a piece of ancient coin jewelry for $6000, it makes people happy and feel good. I want to be apart of that.

  • Self Identified Competition

For Fine Jewelry, no one in Riverside county. For home Decor, Christopher Anthony LTD and REX or both beautiful home stores that are local. -see answer two fields above-
