Ryan Murdick HVACR&Plumbing LLC 92-1589735 | Government Grant Application

Ryan Murdick HVACR&Plumbing LLC | Application Preview

Ryan Murdick HVACR&Plumbing LLC is seeking government grants primarily for advertising, which is essential for expanding its market reach. The funding will also support the expansion of certifications and dealership statuses to enhance service offerings in the HVACR and plumbing sectors.

The business plan focuses on leveraging advertising and a strong work ethic to achieve growth over the next 1-3 years. Murdick anticipates needing additional staff, such as a laborer and an office worker, and possibly a technician, to manage the increased scope of services. Enhanced training for current offerings is also a priority to reduce warranty work and improve customer service, which he believes will lead to positive word-of-mouth referrals.

Murdick emphasizes his determination and work ethic, highlighting that he is a father of three who cannot afford failure. He notes that while work is currently steady, a financial boost is necessary to expand clientele and acquire equipment. In Western Pennsylvania, there is considerable demand for HVAC and plumbing services, particularly in rural areas where many companies do not operate.

The competition includes small, localized firms, but Murdick's competitive edge lies in his ability to offer a broad range of services that can address multiple needs for homeowners and business owners in one visit. He is committed to working around customer schedules, which makes his offerings particularly appealing. Additionally, he aims to serve customers with specific needs, such as those in mobile/manufactured homes or using oil heat, which are often overlooked by other companies.

  • Business Plan

With use of advertisements and amazing work ethic I plan to grow this business. 1-3 years, I am projecting to need at least 1 laborer and 1 office worker (if not also 1 technician). Adding services offered and better training for current services being offered will mitigate warranty work and provide excellent service to customers which then puts out free advertising! I am a strong willed, hard working, father of 3 who has no option to fail. Currently work is plentiful and steady but a small financial cushion is needed to help expand reach more clientele and front equipment for customers. In my area of Western Pa, there is a large demand for HVAC & Plumbing technicians. Most local companies stay out of the rural areas and only work on specific equipment, leaving a large portion of people with no one. I am here to be there someone and keep the blue collar households comfortable and safe.

  • Self Identified Competition

J.L. Dumm plumbing and heating 2-4 employees. Mostly rural territory. Twolick Valley Heating and Cooling 2 man crew. Owner is in his late 50’s and looking to retire soon. Has already began downsizing jobs and clients. Colgan Plumbing and Heating One man operation. Owners son recently took over. Loosing a lot of customers due to poor bedside manners and quality of work. Have gained a dozen of this competitors customer’s in recent months I offer a wide variety of services that otherwise, homeowners and business owners, would have to get multiple companies to complete. I aim to work around customer schedules, as best as possible, so they don’t have to miss work. Most HVAC/Plumbing companies will not work on mobile/manufactured homes or Oil Heat (which is a very common fuel source in the area) both prevalent in the rural areas
