We plan on creating certification courses, AIA courses and more opportunities for training for anyone interested in slip and fall prevention. In the past 4 years, we have seen a 500% increase in inquiries regarding slip testing. That's because standards and building codes are being released that specify actual numbers needed for a floor to be deemed safe. Contractors are no longer installing surfaces they believe are safe, they are getting these surfaces tested because they want to be protected. The increase in awareness will lead to increase in sales.

Self Identified Competition
SlipDoctors, while they are a company outside of florida, they rent out the machines that are used for slip testing. And this decreases the reliability and credibility of the slip testing technician. Walkway Management Group, while we are a regional affiliate of them, we are also in competition with them. Florida Non Slip Services, this is one of the few companies in florida that people get fooled into thinking they are experts. They are not. Slip Doctors is in the business of just selling products. They don't care if they work or not (I used to be a certified slip doctor solution provider). They aren't interested in slip and fall prevention. Walkway Management Group is simply a seller of the BOT 3000e. they don't care what they have to say or do to sell it. Even if it is a lie. Florida Non-Slip Services tells people they are testing for Static Coefficient of Friction... which currently, there is no active standard or building code calling for that. They tell people that OSHA requires an SCOF of .50 and ADA requires an SCOF of .60. This is all a lie. there is no existing official document showing that ADA or OSHA requires anything of such sort.
