Funding Usage
I will be using this money to invest in more marketing as well as using it to create a business platform to share my knowledge of the Lash Extension and Brow industry. I want to train, certify, and be able to license other young women in this industry. I would purchase more equipment and supplies as well as updated technology to help run my business more efficiently to help reach my targeted audience. This would help expand the reach of my business immensely. These funds would help grow my business into the business I know I can achieve. I want to reach new levels in this industry and I know that with proper funding I would be able to make these dreams come true.

Business Plan
In the next 5 years I plan to grow my business by investing in new technologies. By investing in new technology I will be able to keep up with the fast pace market in the Lash industry by staying up to date with the most efficient equipment for my clientele. I plan on studying the market for new and rising trends and skill sets. Along with studying the market I plan on observing my customers and listening to their wants and needs from me. Last but not least I plan on diversifying my business to make it more suitable to a larger audience. If I am awarded the investment that my business and I are requesting, not only will it be a help to my business, but this will also be a n investment into other young women’s hope and dreams too. If I am awarded, I will be able to give other men and women the tools and skills needed to expand their knowledge in the Lash and Brow Industry. It has always been a dream of mine to be able to teach and help other people with the same passions as myself. I have always been asked, “When are you going to start teaching classes?” and told “I want to learn from you!” and my response is always “I will be able to help you when I have the right tools to teach you what you need.” This funding would allow me to do just that and I really hope you will consider CJxLashes for this award.

Self Identified Competition
My top 3 competitors would be strip lash brands, mascara brands, and cluster lash distributors. I am so different from my competitors in so many ways. To start off by naming a few, I am a small business. I work day in and day out to give my customers guaranteed satisfaction to the best of my capabilities. Not only do I provide a service to my clientele, but also a listening ear, a friend, advice, and even a shoulder to cry on. My business goes deeper than just the typical “Thank you! Next!” attitude. I provide a warm and welcoming environment that makes my clients want to keep coming back to me. I have a certain charisma to me that not a lot of people my age can resonate with. I know what it’s like to work hard for something. I started my business from the ground up and have put so much time, effort, money, tears, and hard work into this to the point that I know that I will never let it fail. I don’t come from a wealthy family, my parents couldn’t afford to put me through college, but I was gifted with an amazing head on my shoulders and an even greater niche for my gift in the beauty industry. All I need is for someone to take a chance on me and I know I won’t let us down.
