  • Funding Usage

    Our plans on using this funding would be to purchase new service trucks for use by our employees to make sure they have a safe place to transport our tools to and from the many job sites we use. We would also fund a trailer to place a work space for larger jobs where we can pull that to a long term job site and be able to lock it up and leave it on the site for projects that take more then 2 weeks to complete. We are wanting to make sure we can maintain our equipment to the top quality of safety standards so we would also use this funding for harness equipment, ropes, hard hats and general safety equipment deemed necessary for our employees to safely work at levels over 2 stories on some of our structures. Finally we would utilize any left over equipment for a new printer/scanner for our office if we find the funds available to do so.

  • Business Plan

    We look to start working more with TEKLA Steel Detailing program to offer our customers the opportunity to have a one stop shop when it comes to form fitting architectural plans to be ready to use on the ground with steel erection. It is an important step that is sometimes forgotten when it comes to erecting any steel structure. We are looking to take the many years of experience in Steel Erection and tie that into detailing of plans so that there are more elements completed in one step instead of multiple revisions. We also look to hire more employees and in doing so we would be able to bid and accept the work on more projects. We are a small company in Oregon that has been in business for over 7 years. That in itself it a feat in this day and it show the determination of the owners. They are striving to grow their company and give the opportunity to more individuals that would like to get into the trade industry of Welding, Steel Erection or Steel Detailing but wouldn't necessarily like to join the union to do so. We pride ourselves on being able to instruct and teach those around us and look forward to finding more opportunities to open this industry up to other generations.

  • Self Identified Competition

    Our top 3 competitors would be probably very limited as what we do is very specialized, A36 use to be our top competitor, Eagles View is another one, these two companies are able to pull in these larger scale projects and more prevailing wage jobs. Our biggest hurdle right now with prevailing wage jobs that are on a larger scale is the fines that we get because we can't find qualified employees through the iMatch / or Union Participation program to comply with the Workforce Training and Hiring Program. What makes us different is our hands on approach from day one, we are small enough to stay informed on individual bids but yet are seen on a daily basis on each job that we are running. We strive to give the highest quality of work at the safest level possible. We pride ourselves on not having any OSHA violations and making sure that our employees take pride in the work they are doing as they also are the face of our company.
