Taylor Made LLC | Application Preview
Taylor Made LLC is seeking government grants to support its initiative of working from home to produce video content, purchase editing software, and create user guides. The company aims to develop separate websites for video editing, photography, Photoshop, and camera work, while offering a membership that provides access to all sites.
The business targets individuals who cannot afford traditional education or lack the time to gather resources on video editing, seeking to foster a community where members can help each other succeed in videography and related fields.
In terms of competition, Taylor Made LLC identifies platforms like YouTube, Fiverr, and Indeed. It believes that while YouTube offers a plethora of tutorials, the vast amount of content can overwhelm users with varying quality. Fiverr complicates the selection process due to insufficient profiles, making it hard to determine the right fit for specific needs. Likewise, Taylor Made LLC critiques Indeed, noting that many job applications go unnoticed and that job postings often remain unresponsive to applicants.
The proposed site aims to improve this landscape by allowing users to create portfolios for visibility to potential employers while ensuring businesses respond to applicants within a set timeframe, ultimately enhancing the job-seeking experience for content creators and employers alike.

Funding Usage
This will allow to work from home to create the videos and to purchase other editing software and create guides on using those as well. I also hope to have sponsors to promote the site and the job board to help move clients from things such as Indeed or Fiverr.

Business Plan
I want to open from video editing to photography, photoshop and camera work. I want those to carry their own separate sites but with a membership, they will have access to all of the sites. I want people who can't simply afford to go to school or have the time to do all the research trying to find how to do videos and be a part of a community in which everyone helps achieve that goal of getting into video editing, videography, etc.

Self Identified Competition
Youtube Fiverr Indeed With Youtube, while you can simply type "Premiere Guide", you will be flooded with videos of varied lengths with different people who may or may not give you everything you are looking for or may overcomplicate something that the program already has. Fiverr many people can simply shop for people of different skills and there isn't, in my opinion, enough ways for you to decide if the person you are choosing is what you're looking for. With the site I hope to create, people will have profiles with something like Behance or within the site that people can see and go through to see if that person is for them and I hope vice versa. I want the people making these portfolios to see businesses and what they are looking for so that they can put their name as a potential employer. Indeed I feel like a majority of applications are either never looked at or usually not what the job wants. Many times in the pass I've applied at dozens of jobs but never hear anything, or get recommendations to jobs I've either already applied to or jobs well over 30 days old. I want the site to have a set amount of days business or the editor can promote themselves and both sides. I want to make sure that companies cannot post jobs and not respond to those clients if there is a way.
