  • Funding Usage

My plan for the funding is to purchase tools and equipment needed to get started pouring and finishing concrete. A variety of hand tools are needed for finishing as well as a concrete buggy to transport the concrete. Laser- leveling equipment is also a must, along with a compactor to ensure proper PSI for the foundation of the pour. I also need a jackhammer to be able to remove existing concrete in some instances. The funding will also be used for a trailer to transport all said equipment from job to job. The last big funding usage will be marketing to get the business needed to create a strong and profitable business.

  • Business Plan

Through countless jobs of perfection and happy customers, I plan to sharpen my skills, as well as bring on other partners that are exceptionally skilled in the concrete industry. I also plan to perfect and offer decorative stamped and colored concrete in the future. This is a growing industry with the amount of custom homes being built in todays times. There is also much less competition in the decorative concrete world, which helps with growth and expansion. Much of the profit in the beginning will be reinvested back into the company to purchase equipment to make the jobs much more efficient such as a skid steer, dump truck, and hydraulic breaker for the skidsteer. This will massively increase our production, while keeping payroll and other expenses lower. There are many driving factors that should help you make the decision to invest in me. My father has been an entrepreneur for most of his life and I've taken in everything I can from him. I've worked in the construction industry for basically all of my work life and take great pride in the work I do. I have almost 8 years of experience in working with concrete in some of the hardest conditions at a foundation repair company. I handle a lot of responsibility at this company and have done every part of the business from estimates to actual work and finalizing with customers. There's nothing more that I want in this world more than to build a company, doing what I love, to support my family and others. I'm a motivated, hard working, intelligent person who will stop at nothing to make sure the job is done and done right. The people I surround myself with at the company will reflect that as well.

  • Self Identified Competition

My company is aiming towards an approach that doesn't compete with the big local companies at this time. I aim to fill the voids that the larger companies leave in residential areas. Our only competition would be other small concrete companies. My business will treat each customer like they're part of the family. My no-pressure sales pitches and free estimates will help people feel comfortable and trusting. We will also explain fully to the customer the first principles of what we do and why we do them so there is no miscommunication in the finished product. Our attention to detail and fair pricing will ensure that every customer is satisfied and sharing our name. Our golden rule is "If there's a will, there's a way". We will make our customers happy, no matter the situation. My experience of 8 years in doing jobs that no one else would do has prepared me to do whatever it takes to get it done.
