Partywitsplash LLC 832587566 | Government Grant Application

Partywitsplash LLC | Application Preview

Partywitsplash LLC is seeking government grants due to significant business disruptions caused by COVID-19. The pandemic led to shutdowns and restrictions on public gatherings, severely impacting their ability to earn income through DJ services, which constitute the bulk of their revenue. To adapt, the applicant is looking to invest in marketing efforts and establish a permanent venue for events, allowing for a more stable income source rather than searching for temporary event locations. The opportunity to purchase properties at potentially lower prices due to the pandemic is seen as a potential advantage for rebranding.

Their business plan includes creating community-oriented events, such as a free annual kids' day, and launching a website to enhance community engagement. The goal is to gain stability through owning an event space, which would also enable them to host bi-weekly pop-up shops for local vendors.

Funding approval is justified by the company's commitment to fostering entrepreneurship within the community and demonstrating that success is attainable through various avenues beyond traditional roles, such as sports. The applicant intends to create a space not just for nighttime events but also for daytime activities and networking opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs.

In terms of competition, the applicant acknowledges that larger radio DJs have a more extensive reach due to their established platforms, but emphasizes their unique community relationships and dedication to supporting local talent. By focusing on building connections within Cleveland, Ohio, and providing opportunities for youth to express themselves creatively, the applicant believes they hold a competitive edge. They also highlight a partnership with a podcast network, allowing individuals to explore behind-the-scenes roles in the media industry.

  • Funding Usage

Due to COVID-19 my business has been affected drastically due to the limitations of the government as far as shut downs curfews & the closings of public gatherings all & all with my bills not being put on hold the only way for me to advertise would be through paid ads & different type of marketing in order for my business to draw traffic for my promotional services or merchandise since majority of my income comes from me actually DJ'n which I'm not allowed to do. Instead of having to constantly search for an event venue I would actually like to find & open my own to be stationary instead of on-the-go so to speak. With the recent pandemic going on some properties might be for sale even cheaper than normal & I would like to potentially capitalize off of that & re-brand my business with something new to offer. Due to the pandemic & good relationship I have with my building manager & him being understanding I have been able to work out a minimum payment plan to continue to keep my office space open but I am behind on a couple months of rent as well.

  • Business Plan

I plan to grow my business by investing not only into my company but into the neighborhood by having community events for the kids plan an annual kids day in the summer thats free to all children to gain the communities support, also want to launch a website where people can communicate & let me know what kind of events people would like. Doing on the go jobs is cool but I would actually have more range & consistency with my own venue so with help from a grant I would be able to gain security & stabilization with my own venue/event space. I also would be able to host bi weekly pop up shops for other vendors to come join me & sell their products through my venue. People should invest into my company because with me being in position I can build & help breed more entrepreneurs & help show younger kids & adults that you don't have to be an athlete to be "successful". With my own venue I wouldn't have it limited to just nightly events where people lounge there would be day events & networking mixers where other entrepreneurs & like minded individuals can come together & collaborate

  • Self Identified Competition

All of my top competitors I would consider is Radio DJ's by them having a bigger platform & outlet people would naturally gravitate towards them based off their daily job & reaching millions through it, while I can only reach thousands through my social media. People feel they have more value since they have household names over somebody having to work 2 times as harder to get a opportunity to showcase but for way less money I actually have relationships not only within my community but outside in different cities as well, instead of running to another city & adapting to their culture I have stayed here in Cleveland,Ohio & help build our own, from promoting black businesses daily to helping younger adults & kids have an alternative outlet of expression as far as a studio or giving them the chance to perform in front of crowd so that they feel their making progress with a career their seeking. I recently partnered with a podcast network so that if people don't wanna focus on a in front of camera job they can focus & practice behind the scenes situations as far as a photography videography & audio editing.
