JS Credentialing & Billing Services 852250432 | Government Grant Application

JS Credentialing & Billing Services | Application Preview

JS Credentialing & Billing Services is seeking government grants to enhance its operations. The funding would primarily support essential services such as phone, fax, and internet, as well as cover monthly liability insurance, stationery supplies, and rent for a single office space.

The business has successfully expanded through Facebook promotion and word-of-mouth referrals. In the next five years, the owner aims to hire 1-2 employees to assist with credentialing and billing services.

The funding is vital for supporting mental health providers by ensuring they receive timely reimbursements for their services. This role is crucial in maintaining access to mental health care and preventing distress among patients due to billing issues.

Currently, the competition consists of single-employee billing and credentialing firms, with no other similar organizations found in Georgia. The owner emphasizes that being a single-employee operation allows for more affordable service options compared to larger organizations like Grady or The Bowen Center, catering primarily to single-member mental health providers.

  • Business Plan

I have been able to expand my business by promoting my services via Facebook. I have been able to gain clients via word of mouth. In five years I plan to have at least 1-2 employees to aid in credentialing and billing services. As my business is to aid mental health providers in providing treatment to patients while being able to be reimbursed. With that being said I would like to be invested in to continue to be apart of that necessary platform. Without mental health billers to assist providers and patients with ensuring their claims are processed and paid correctly, the mental health distress would be detrimental.

  • Self Identified Competition

My current competitors are single employee billing/credentialing organizations. I have not been able to locate any single employee billing/credentialing organizations in Georgia. As a single employee organization, I can offer more affordable options than larger organizations like Grady or The Bowen Center. As a single employee organization, I can offer more affordable options for services other than larger organizations like Grady or The Bowen Center as most providers who contact me for help are single member organizations. (mental health providers)
