The applicant seeks government grants to support their individual business venture as an eBay reseller. Currently, they have no working capital for inventory and are in the early stages of their business plan. The applicant faces challenges in maintaining traditional employment due to a mental health disorder. With over three years of experience reselling on eBay, they aim to relaunch their business. They recognize competition from Facebook Marketplace, other eBay sellers, and thrift stores. However, their competitive edge lies in their personal circumstances; being disabled and coming from a family of veterans gives them a unique perspective. This flexibility allows them to operate independently, which is essential given their mental health challenges. The applicant believes this funding will enable them to generate income without the constraints of a regular job.
