The Epling Family 276765966 | Government Grant Application

The Epling Family | Application Preview

The Epling Family is seeking government grants to secure funding for purchasing a home with ample land to combat homelessness and revitalize their farm. Their plan includes acquiring farm animals such as chickens and sheep, building a greenhouse, and purchasing a tractor for tilling and hay production. This investment aims to create a stable environment for the family, allowing them to focus on education and explore new business ideas.

The family emphasizes the importance of funding to mitigate the psychological toll of homelessness and to provide them with a secure home so they can pursue their goals without the constant stress of housing instability. Their intention is not only to improve their living conditions but also to contribute positively to the local community by collaborating with other farmers and investing in education and the economy.

In presenting their case for funding, the Epling Family outlines challenges they faced with various housing programs that have been discriminatory and inadequate, often resulting in repeated cycles of homelessness. Their competitive edge lies in the desire to break this cycle by investing in a farming business and offering support to friends and family.

Overall, the Epling Family's application highlights their commitment to creating a stable, supportive environment that fosters growth, improves their circumstances, and contributes to the community's well-being. They hope to use the grant to return to a life centered around farming and community support, ensuring a brighter future for themselves and those around them.

  • Funding Usage

For the purchasing of a house with good amount of land to prevent homelessness any further, and to restore our farm, to purchase chickens , sheep , build a greenhouse, buy a tractor to make hay and till the ground for vegetables and fruit, to go to school after getting settled. For investment purposes for farming, and for investment for new ideas and the ability to work with companies. To have a sense of security in an investment, to cover hardships since we have lost so much and to be able to start again.

  • Business Plan

to get settled into a owned home preferably a farmhouse to protect the family from further homelessness also purchasing farm animals such as sheep and chickens and tractor and to build a greenhouse and if there is any money left to buy a horse for my daughters and sons interest in 4-H and to work with other farmers to protect the family and community, and invest into school and what i have left to invest in the stock market to keep the money flowing within the community so that we may be protecting ourselves. so that we no longer suffer the traumatizing effects of homelessness, so no one else can say to us pay this very high rent or else go into the street, to be settled into a home where we can finally focus in the studies of school and work without being interrupted and worried with stress, so we can make it To be able to fulfill our ideas and take them on to a new company for support that will be of success.

  • Self Identified Competition

HUD, Metro Housing Authority, Government housing assistance, Community Action, for rent payments, whom staff have discriminately, harassingly, spitefully, and abruptly, without help and support to fix it to where we are safe and only terminated our rental assistance 2 times for the simple consideration of the father of our child being an "unauthorized visitor" to the home and without accommodating us to add him onto the lease with only suddenly and punishingly terminating the whole entire family coverage that prevents homelessness ultimately forcing us into homelessness again and again. To be affected by programs that are funded that were supposed to cover our housing for 10 years that unreasonably with no explination disappear or be taken out of the support for us causing the program to no longer exist and suggesting the company need to ask for a different grant to supply their company and in the midths causing us be at risk for homelessness causing their company to ask for more money and not use it correctly finding excuses to terminate us again and again leaving us homeless and forcing us into homelessness with absolutely no other available programs to prevent homelessness causing us to lose everything we have built to make a home and be safe and to have to go into a shelter to start over again and again. So that there is no more risk of the trauma and interruptions of homelessness and for our family to be able to recover and invest into a farmhouse who we can house friends and family who would support the farm and be able to grow and to be able to invest with a business and into a farming business ultimately. To be able to buy a home and get my mother who is a farmer, out of the nursing facility she is residing in from the guardian to sell it making her lose her farm only due to the facilities expecting payment for their overtreatments even though medicare pays for it for 4 almost 5 years, when mom had hip surgery in 2017 and had to lose her farm and land just to pay for the rehab that held her in there for too long mistreating her causing more suffering unnecessarily even though she was fully recovered by her being recovered and them not accounting for the recovery. So that we can relive our farm life experience and practice living right and correctly to survive. To be able to invest in the market to support the people who have the experience in farming and to grow with them. And to invest and support our evolving ideas to help the communities.
