In the next five years I plan to grow my business by offering speech therapy to various populations of need including children with syndromes and children from low socio economic status. In addition, I will provide service to various entities in the community and in various ways. These entities include, preschools/daycares, public/private schools, nursing homes, independent living facilities to name a few. The format of the services will include, one on one therapy, groups, and consultations which can also be offered in a tailored manner for each entity depending on their needs. For example, at a nursing home, patients can come in or be seen on site on a one to one basis and can also participate in a group therapy setting. Investors should loan or award my business because my services are highly needed in our communities and there are not enough providers for the current demand. In addition, my business will meet the needs of many populations and will educate entities on continuous prevention and generalization of crucial communication skills for our patients to function successfully in their communities. My business will also be culturally sensitive as I plan to hire therapists from various backgrounds.
