    2000 will immediately be used to purchase and build a fully functional PC as our current devices are severely outdated (2019 HP pavilion laptop). This PC will be built to carry the brunt of all photo editing, video editing, and will house all files related to the business. 200 will additionally be used to purchase a solid state drive in case any files were to be destroyed or corrupted. 1000 will be used to purchase the Brother sewing/ embroidery machine (SE600) specific for creating and embroidering sample pieces to ship to our manufacturers along with it's tech packs and mockups. 200 will be allocated to purchasing the HP ENVY printer used for printing out heat transfer sheets. 300 will be then used to purchase the Vevor heat press machine. 500 will then be used for reams of different fabrics, thread, heat transfer sheets and vinyls, camera film, adobe Photoshop (for photo editing and design creation), CLO3D (for three dimensional garment design), and camera accessories. As of right now, we are using our free trial of CLO3D and Autodesk sketchbook on a mobile device to create designs. We are also using a Canon rebel for our current photoshoots and will be using a new type of camera in the future as stated in the next point. 300 will then be used to purchase a vintage Olympus film camera for photoshoots and social media marketing photos. 1000 will be used to purchase an Xppen Artist 24pro and will be used for all design process' alongside the PC. We currently have an Artist 22e and are looking to upgrade as technology continues to exponentially advance.

    Within the first year of operation, V4N1TY will focus on growing out social media presence and garner a loyal customer base. Within the second year, we will expand our brand from clothing into a jewelry line as well, introducing our relatively young customers to the intricate world of jewelry. Year 3 will be the push and combination of both clothing and jewelry as V4N1TY will start it's own in house production on unique, authentic pieces in order to stay ahead of the ever changing trend landscape. This year will also introduce our first ever brick and mortar locations. Years 4 and 5 will be the international push for our brick and mortar boutiques. V4N1TY is a brand born in Derby, CT. I originally sought to make clothes that would fit my long proportions and in turn, my brand gained popularity and respect from the neighborhood and it's children. With this newfound attention, it is now my duty to present a positive example and steer them away from their gang-banging, drug selling, and pistol popping influences they're so used to being around. V4N1TY strives to deliver high quality hand crafted garments for a fraction of the price of its competitors in the streetwear bubble. Once our company is profitable enough, we will build up lower income communities like the ones I have grown up in. My target demographic is people ages 18+, we will have pieces ranging in various prices to accomodate the average shopper to the big money spending collectors. Our mission is to invoke thought and conversation when wearing/ using our product. The name “Vanity” comes from the biblical connotation of the word in the passage stating, “Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanity of vanities: all is vanity” (Ecclesiastes 1:2). The Hebrew word for vanity in this case translates to “vapor” or “breath”. It can also be translated to “futility” or “worthlessness”. The preacher in this passage (Solomon, one of the smartest men to live) is portraying the fact that after exhausting all the luxuries and experiences that this world has to offer, it inevitably amounts to nothing. Chasing worldly goals that disappear when one takes their last breath would be living life in vain. When a customer wears V4N1TY, they are acknowledging the vain and superfluous way of life we are so comfortable living in every day. Every single one of our lives has a bigger purpose than our society and culture had led us to believe. The vast majority of clothing brands today don't care about the lives of it's customers, they quite literally call this a "free-money-glitch. These brands could care less about the art and vision it takes to start a trend, they'd rather leech off of them and make a quick buck or two instead. V4N1TY is a streetwear/ lifestyle brand that will actively force you step back and reflect. To see the bigger picture.

  • Self Identified Competition

    RHUDE, brandandjewlery co., kith V4N1TY plans to expand from just a streetwear brand to jewelery, formal attire, watchmaking, and furniture. We plan to pull money back into our impoverished neighborhoods and eventually employ our own people. Unlike the average streetwear brand, I plan to innovate and break the mold. My brand will be here to stay long after I have passed away. I want V4N1TY to be more than just a brand name.
