Promised LAN Digital Services | Application Preview
Promised LAN Digital Services is seeking government grants to secure venture capital aimed at enhancing their marketing efforts and participating in local and regional exhibitions. The funding will help the business, which focuses on serving non-profit and low-budget organizations, operate without financial liabilities.
The company's mission is to support local and regional communities by providing essential technology services, especially in the wake of recent quarantines. A key driver for the funding approval is their commitment to assist small businesses and create a creative consulting atmosphere for youth in Central Texas, in partnership with nationwide programs for children and teens aged 5 to 18.
Promised LAN faces competition from major players like Geek Squad, TaskRabbit, and Thumbtack. However, they differentiate themselves by offering personalized, consistent service from local technicians who have diverse experience in both small and large organizations. Their model emphasizes customer care over profits, which is reflected in their pricing strategy that avoids mark-ups on retail items and prioritizes customer needs over unnecessary recommendations.

Funding Usage
This would be used as venture capital to move forward with marketing and exhibitions for our local and regional communities. Due to the nature of our business and target clientele being non-profit and low budget organizations, we do not want to operate with any liabilities if at all possible.

Business Plan
We plan to help people in our local and regional communities with technology services in light of the recent quarantine. Our goal is to provide technology services to other small businesses and create a creative consulting environment for the youth of Central Texas. We partner with nationwide programs for children and youth aged 5 to 18.

Self Identified Competition
Our Top 3 competitors are Best Buy's Geek Squad, TaskRabbit, and Thumbtack. Geek Squad offers in-store low-level troubleshooting and then ships equipment back to their service center in Tennessee for anything more difficult. Thumbtack and TaskRabbit are apps where you can list a need for a service and receive quotes from various service providers, but there is no guarantee that the app will send the same technician if you have the same issue in the next few days or weeks. We would like to keep all service local and consistent with the same names and faces if at all possible. We are made up of technicians that have worked in small 2-man shops as well as in large multi-national corporations. We understand the business need and that taking care of the customer is more important than making a large commission on a sale. That is why we do not charge mark-up on retail items and we do not recommend products that a user will not actually need. Basically, we care more about the customer, and our relationship with them, than we do making millions of dollars.
