Funding Usage
I plan to buy a used camper from a old employer for 4500. I then plan to buy the necessary equipment to sustain myself and my workflow during a storm deployment (laptop, emergency generator, food, water, etc.). This funding will give my business the initial push it needs that I was unable to provide due to the virus last year. I was forced to switch careers after the virus hit. We just had a son and he was 6 months at the time when it hit the U.S. My fiancée was stuck working while I studied for my new career as an insurance adjuster, so we were unable to give this new business the proper funding it needs. In adjusting you make your money during storms and currently I am unable to go to Texas to help out with claims due to my circumstances. If I had a camper and the other equipment needed, I would have been able to go on this storm and make a life changing amount of money. This is my last option. I pay “self employed” pricing for health insurance so I am BEYOND hurting, trying to make a better future for my family and I. Business Plan
I plan on growing my business by continuing to hit every storm over the next ten years and slowly add friends and family etc. as adjusters on my “team”. I believe that I deserve a grant because I have been giving my absolute all to bettering myself for the last 10 years and I am so close but this virus destroyed me. I know that I can bounce back and get the funds but I fear that it would not be in time for storm season this year. I only make enough to pay for my family to sustain life. Health insurance, rent, truck payments, etc. are keeping me from making the leap needed to get where I intended to be. I am not lazy. I am not a fool. I just am an honest hard working kid from Cleveland who had a dream of living somewhere better and making something of himself. I have my family and my parents counting on me for retirement. I have a huge heart and just want to set all of us up. I have the plan, just need the start up.

I have no competition. As long as storms keep coming, I will always have work. I work extremely hard and have a lot riding on me. If I fail then a lot of people will not have a future. I can not, and will not let them down.
