Life Touch, LLC Life Touch, LLC | Government Grant Application

Life Touch, LLC | Application Preview

Life Touch, LLC is applying for government grants to support payroll costs, aiming to reduce the expenses associated with elderly care. The company has recently appointed Ted Samaras as CEO, who has helped revitalize the business and improve decision-making, especially after the previous owner faced burnout. In the past six months, Life Touch has made significant changes, including partnering with referral agencies, focusing on hiring passionate and certified employees, enhancing staff training, and introducing a client check-in program to ensure high-quality service. They have also engaged in improving their online presence through various platforms.

The justification for funding revolves around the increasing demand for elderly care due to the aging baby boomer population. The business recognizes a gap in quality care offerings compared to competitors, and they aim to elevate industry standards. The team believes that their collective expertise and a focus on holistic care will enable them to meet this rising demand effectively.

Life Touch faces competition from firms like Home Instead, Underhill, and Aging True, but they emphasize that their personalized and compassionate approach sets them apart. Their services extend beyond basic caregiving; they assist clients with health-related issues, home conditions, legal matters like living wills, and even offer support during end-of-life situations. The owner’s strong community ties and commitment to spiritual support further reinforce the company’s dedication to serving seniors with compassion and respect.

  • Business Plan

Life Touch has added business strategist Ted Samaras as CEO. It was a blessing having him agree to come and help me. Because quite frankly I was burnt out and making bad decisions. So here’s what we’ve changed in the past six months. Firstly we signed up for referral agencies to gain new business. We tighten down on the employees that we hire, in other words they have to love their job and have training or certification. We brought in front line assistance to help with the important areas like who we hire, continuing education and training. We also have a part time administrative person for scheduling and keeping up with what’s going on with the employees. We’ve also implemented a pop in and check on clients program in order to provide excellent service. The type of service that we would want if it was us at home. Staying connected with Family and the health care surrogate to maintain relationship. Ted has also been instrumental in our online presence and testimonial site, Google sites Facebook Instagram Caring.com, Care In Homes—. I am a spiritual person so I already love the relationship and rapport with the employees and clientele. Lifetouch strives to do the right thing. It is imperative that we keep God‘s blessings. Thank you for your consideration In our financial request for assistance. I hope the same blessings come your way. Sincerely, Sherri Kitchens Well the first reason is that we are entering in the time of the baby boomers needing care. I’ve been reading about it and hearing about it for several years now but seeing it come in to play where there’s actually more people that need healthcare than there are quality professional in the industry. It’s a heavy demand that has come up on us in just the last 3 to 4 months. I believe with the help of the professionals surrounding our team we have a vision of raising the industry standard in the type of care that we’re offering. I don’t see that in our competitors. There are a few companies maybe two that I know of that all love their style and I believe the owners heart is in the right place. When God sent Ted to us that was the turning point in our business I have a blog available if you click on the link below Which describes all of Ted’s accomplishments and doesn’t really talk about all the businesses that he saved over the years. So with the rising demand on our communities and the large aging population our business is fastly growing and the rules are changing all the time. I like it that we have a stronger team and more support to work together to solve issues as they come up. I must in by saying prayer it’s really key in the success of Life Touch. http://blog.sina.cn/dpool/blog/s/blog_8712281a0100tahw.html

  • Self Identified Competition

Oh boy we have a lot of competitors. I believe none that rise to the level of service that we do. The first one would be home instead, the second one would be Underhill which I’m an acquaintance and had lunch with the current owner. Her grandmother started to business years ago she inherited it. The third one might be Aging True because of their Medicare and Medicaid credentials. Well I believe you should invest in Lifetouch first of all because we are not a franchise and where are the back bone of the city. Lifetouch is owned by a local true love seniors especially those in their own town. Here’s where we’re better from the rest of our competitors. I’ve gone in to peoples homes and it has been a disaster. We have sound or I should say I have found people in their home with vasculars dementia, Louis body, Parkinson’s and many other not only physically debilitating but mentally. We’ve assisted him in getting to a doctor and back in their right mind. Making their home livable where before it was unlivable conditions. Saving money pit or rehoming them. Helping them clean out their house finding stock certificate and Assisting them and getting them registered so they could use the money to pay for their care or bills. Assisting families in getting living wills with Health Care surrogate in place. Elderly people with substance abuse is we’ve taken them for professionally guided treatment with great long-term results. Coming into home and assisting Hospice with palliative care and staying with the family or clients until the undertaker comes and gets them. Cleaning them up telling our clients are sorry for the loss giving them their keys back and letting them know we would love to Memorial. Advocating for many seniors where we see financial abuse from Comcast or a litany of other areas. We’re also keenly aware of The mini tactics that are used to take it vantage of our seniors and how to report them. I’m also a member of the guardianship chapter here in Jacksonville. My dad who is a local minister provide spiritual support for families who asked for it in their time of need.
