Zion Pass LLC NV20212031561 | Government Grant Application

Zion Pass LLC | Application Preview

Zion Pass LLC is applying for government grants to support its initial six-month operations aimed at establishing a comprehensive wellness center in Nevada. The funding will cover rent, an electronic medical records (EMR) system, a human resources information system (HRIS), staff salaries, technology needs, and marketing efforts.

The business plan outlines a three-phase approach over the first year. In the first three months, the focus will be on building infrastructure, including securing a location, setting up systems, hiring staff, and beginning marketing efforts. By the end of this phase, the center aims to enroll 10 patients in Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) or Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), with a target of generating $8,500 per patient per stay of approximately 17 days.

The subsequent period (months 3-6) will prioritize establishing community relationships and starting licensing for Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs. The goals for this stage remain the same for IOP/PHP, primary care, and wellness programs, with modest increases in patient numbers.

Moving into the latter part of the first year, the plan includes contracting with community partners for outreach, hosting events for high school students, and launching continuing education opportunities. By the end of year one, the center expects to see significant increases in patient numbers across all programs.

In the second year, the MAT program will launch, targeting 5 patients per week, with plans to expand to 50 clients per month. Growth in all service areas is anticipated, including primary care and wellness programs.

As for competition, Zion Pass LLC recognizes the presence of large healthcare facilities in Nevada. However, it aims to address gaps in the mental health system, where many patients lack proper care continuity. The team plans to collaborate with existing providers to ensure appropriate placements for clients.

Zion Pass's competitive edge lies in its diverse and experienced team, which includes Nurse Catherine, a lifelong Nevada resident with extensive healthcare background, and partners with operational and clinical expertise. The center plans to provide high-quality, evidence-based care while fostering community connections to enhance service delivery and outreach. Overall, the grant funding is viewed as essential for realizing the vision of transforming health care from a focus on illness to one centered on wellness.

  • Self Identified Competition

There are large healthcare facilities and corporations in Nevada. Many providers have their own IOP/PHP programs they send patients. Unfortunately many patients revolve in the system for years. The mental health system in Nevada is overwhelmed. There are too many patients who can not receive the care they need due to a lack of continuity of care, or the inability to understand the system. Zion Pass LLC will work with competitors to find the correct placement for the clients based on their current needs. This is a diverse team that not only works in a building, but travels the country to conduct interventions. The team has a highly motivated nurse as an owner who will ensure the clients have the highest quality of nursing care available to them 24/7. Nurse Catherine has worked with the Medical director for many years and has a working relationship with him to put client safety and education at the pinnacle of treatment. The Medical Director has numerous board certifications, but most importantly is board certified in addiction medicine, specifically. The clinical therapist will ensure the curriculum is evidence based, and appropriate. The operational partner will make sure the facility is compliant, efficient, and safe at all times. The former NFL player will continue to give nationwide, keynote speeches about mental health and substance use disorders and the treatments that are available around the country.
