Industry 63 8450576281 | Government Grant Application

Industry 63 | Application Preview

Industry 63 is seeking government grants to address aging bills, loan payments, and make essential improvements to enhance operational efficiency. The business aims to provide high-quality castings across the Midwest, with a commitment to quick turnaround times. Over the next five years, Industry 63 plans to expand its workforce to support growth.

The business highlights its unique position as one that started during the pandemic, succeeding not only in maintaining operations but also in creating job opportunities within the community.

In terms of competition, Industry 63 faces competitors like American Pattern and Sioux City Foundry. American Pattern focuses on prototype castings for larger companies, while Sioux City Foundry offers both pouring and molding services but faces challenges with quality and lead times.

Industry 63's competitive edge lies in its diverse approach to customer acquisition. Instead of concentrating on a few major clients, the company employs a strategy called "The Wheel of 63," which allows for a broader customer base and continuous growth.

  • Business Plan

Providing quality castings all across the Midwest and be in as many markets as we can all while providing quality and a quick turnaround. Specifically in 5 years we hope to expand our workforce so our capabilities can continue to grow. We want to be known as that business that started during a global pandemic and was not only able to keep it's doors open but able to add jobs to our community.

  • Self Identified Competition

American Pattern located in Cedar Falls, IA is also a no bake shop but they specifically focus on prototype castings for a few large companies. Sioux City Foundry located in Sioux City, IA pours molds as well as makes the molds. They currently have more capabilities but struggle to provide quality or lead time. There isn't a niche market perception at Industry 63. Focusing on a few big customers is not what we do. We have a wheel of fortune approach to our customer platform that we call, The Wheel of 63. We want to keep that wheel spinning and keep adding to it so that we can continue to grow.
