    Ronco, has been growing as a small business since 1972. There is an increasing need within the NJ, NY, PA and CT for the support of medical equipment within veterinarian clinics and hospitals, dentists, universities, colleges, surgical and ambulatories centers. There is great potential for continued expansion as a result of Ronco's reputation and it's customer base refering new end users. In addition to referrals, marketing efforts such as trade shows and onsite meetings at potential new sites will have a hand in Ronco's growth. Ronco has been setting a standard for service and support since 1972. There is potential to set both geographic and national guidelines for the maintenance, support and service of medical equipment. These service expectations will be of benefit to both the patient and medical personnel. Below please find a quick synopsis of Ronco. Overview: Created in 1972, Ronco has enjoyed growth and success over the past 48 years. What We Do: Ronco services, supports, repairs and sells a variety of medical equipment in support of healthcare facilities, laboratories and colleges/universities. Equipment expertise includes vaporizer units, anesthesia machines, autoclaves, monitoring equipment, fluid pumps, centrifuges, autoclaves, lift tables, surgical tables, scales, medical gas alarm systems and manifolds, vacuum pumps, suction units and scavenger systems. Who We Serve: Ronco’s end users include veterinary clinics and hospitals, health care clinics, ambulatory centers, dentists, cosmetic surgery centers, rehabilitation facilities, laboratories, universities and colleges. Geographic areas covered include New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, Upstate New York (south of Kingston), all 5 boroughs of New York City including Long Island and occasionally Connecticut. Ronco’s customer base is loyal. Many of Ronco’s end users have been seeking support from Ronco for 20 plus years. On many occasions, as Doctors and/or Technicians as well as Laboratory PIs switch positions to a new practice, the relationship with Ronco continues at the new venue. Vendor Relationships: In order to provide the fastest and most efficient support, the warehouse portion houses an extensive inventory to ensure most machines are repaired on site. If there is a piece of equipment that cannot be repaired onsite, a loaner is left in place of the defective machine. The unit is then brought back to warehouse for bench work. Direct vendor relationships are critical to Ronco. These agreements allow Ronco to enjoy the same discounts as provided to the distributor. Technical education is derived from resources such as manufacturer training, in house training and expertise, certification courses, community college as well as related prior work experience held at institutions such as Robert Wood Johnson. Ronco is also certified to provide CEs in the State of New York.

    Competitors within this industry are fragmented. There is not one large competitor. Instead, there are many small shops of varying expertise. Manufacturers do provide technical support over the phone. When on phone support can not resolve the end users issue, the manufacturer will call Ronco to resolve the issue at the end users site. Ronco technical expertise, care of the end user and spirit of excellence has made a difference with it's end users. We are devoted to our customers and strive to find the best solution for the issue taking into account the end user's economics. It is the employees at Ronco who make the real difference.
