H.A.L.E Home Care LLC 86-3057789 | Government Grant Application

H.A.L.E Home Care LLC | Application Preview

H.A.L.E Home Care LLC is seeking government grants to support its startup operations. The funding will be allocated for essential startup costs, including payroll for staff, furnishing the facility, obtaining necessary insurance, and covering operational expenses for the first three months.

Over the next five years, H.A.L.E Home Care envisions significant growth by opening additional group homes in low-income areas and accepting more children under the care of the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS). The organization aims to secure multiple contracts with DCS to provide care for children aged 5 to 18, expand its staff, and enhance community services.

The agency focuses primarily on providing a supportive and safe environment for at-risk youth, specifically young males aged 5-13. Their mission is to foster self-worth and positive development through comprehensive care that includes educational and recreational activities, alongside daily living skills support. H.A.L.E Home Care's vision is to restore and empower communities one child at a time, ensuring that all children in their care have the resources to navigate life's challenges and break cycles of abuse and neglect.

H.A.L.E Home Care does not consider itself in direct competition with other residential homes, recognizing that Arizona faces a high rate of children in DCS custody and that multiple small agencies are working to meet these needs.

The competitive edge of H.A.L.E Home Care lies in its personalized approach to care, empowering children through social, physical, educational, and emotional support. By addressing the unique challenges faced by children in custody, H.A.L.E Home Care aims to provide opportunities for growth and resilience, ultimately helping them build meaningful connections and set achievable goals for their future.

  • Self Identified Competition

H.A.L.E Home Care LLC, is in no competition and any other residential group homes in the state. HHC understands that Arizona has one of the highest rates of children placed in custody of AZDCS, and we are one of many other small agencies trying to help out and assist those children in need of a placement. Children of all ages come into ADCS custody and have many questions regarding: who they are, what they want, and how are they going to get there. With little to no direction these could be hard questions to answer. H.A.L.E Home Care (HHC), recognizes the struggles and difficulties in these transitioning periods, which are predominately caused by a number of social, cultural, technological, communal, economic, familial, and individual factors. While it may be hard to change the nature of these factors, HHC goes above and beyond to create a stepping-stone that helps empower and impact young impressionable lives. To empower an individual means to give someone the opportunity to achieve something by becoming stronger and more successful. At HHC, we empower children socially, physically, educationally, mentally, and through maintaining relationships. We achieve this by minimizing and personalizing the facility; giving each child personalized care and providing them with opportunities, that they may not have had before. By engaging in our residential based programs and being able to continue to engage in the community gives at-risk children the opportunities to set goals, become more active, meet new people to develop social skills, and ultimately discover the key fundamentals of resiliency.
