I am writing seeking assistance in getting my Federal Student Loan forgiven. I graduated in June of 2007 and shortly after started paying on my loan of $24,553. I have been making payments every month, except for a short period of time, when I was out of work. Which resulted in my losing my home to foreclosure and forced me to go through a bankruptcy in 2013. Now after making payments for over 14 years, I still owe almost $20,000! Also, according to Nelnet – my student loan servicer – I still have over 7-1/2 years of payments to go! This loan is now standing in the way of my being able to get a mortgage for my home and taking advantage of the low interest rates currently available. I am not working directly in the health care field, but I do work for my elderly uncle as his main caregiver and take care of all his finances and needs. I am fortunate that he can pay me for my services. I feel like I have paid for this loan, via interest payments, at a rate of 5.5%, several times over and my payments keep increasing! I am now paying $209.97 per month, this is money I could certainly use in so many other areas. I appreciate your assistance and I have no regrets about getting my Bachelor’s Degree. I feel like use my education daily. I just didn’t realize that I would have to pay for it for the rest of my life!

Business Plan
Since I mainly care for my elderly uncle, his continued needs make growing my business any further difficult. I have hopes of gaining more property management opportunities, should my uncle's situation change. I am hard working and care deeply about my state (I was born and raised here) and family. I do my best to help others to the best of my ability, my husband and I also provide a home to his 40+ year old son that is struggling. I have always tried to be a productive member of society and if I should be given the gift of a grant and my situation changes and I would be in the position to give a grant to others I would certainly pay it forward. It is not in my nature to ask for handouts and I sincerely thank and appreciate your time and consideration.

I believe my top competitors would be the commercial property management companies in our area. However, they can't offer the personalized service that I can. Park 52 Property Management Tacoma Property Management North Point Property Services My competitors have a large customer base and cannot provide the 1:1 service that I can give. That's why growing my business slowly and ensuring not to take on more than I can handle is so important to me. My customers, have close to 24 hr access and there is no project too small.
