The Suited Soldier 87-2475777 | Government Grant Application

The Suited Soldier | Application Preview

The Suited Soldier is applying for a government grant to fund four scholarships for student veterans at Cal State Fullerton. Their approach involves a combination of fundraising events, community engagement, and additional grant applications to sustain the program. They emphasize accountability and direct impact, noting that funds will be distributed through the university’s Veterans Resource Center (VRC) in collaboration with its Director and the university's Director of Development. Unlike other veteran-focused organizations, The Suited Soldier highlights its direct partnership with the university as a unique advantage. Their measurable outcomes include increased graduation rates, diplomas earned, and long-term improvements in the lives of veterans.

We acquire the money and then flip it right back to the students at the VRC. We are working with the Director of the VRC and the Director of Development from Cal State Fullerton, so we have a direct pipeline to being able to ensure that these funds are applied immediately and effectively.

  • Self Identified Competition

There are several veteran focused organizations but none that are working directly with the university and the VRC Our results are measurable. The money can be seen going to work and making a real difference. Diplomas in hand, increasing the graduation rate, and ultimately improving the lives of these veterans and staying proactive to avoid future issues.
