Blackstone | Application Preview
Blackstone is seeking government grant funding to stabilize its business, which has been severely impacted by the economic downturn stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. The funds would be used primarily to reduce existing debt and maintain operations during the economic slowdown. The business is not eligible for traditional loans due to a lowered credit score caused by high balances, and taking on additional loans would only increase financial strain.
The owner has a track record of steady growth over more than a decade and is committed to expanding the business by hiring additional help and reaching more customers in nearby communities. Prior to the pandemic, the business consistently grew year over year.
The grant applicant highlights a strong personal story—dropping out of high school to support family, earning a GED at 16, working multiple jobs, and launching the first business venture by age 23. Despite limited resources compared to larger competitors, the owner believes the quality of the product rivals others in the market.
What sets the business apart is the owner’s work ethic, resilience, and ability to operate efficiently during tough times. The request is rooted in a desire to preserve the business until economic conditions improve, allowing it to return to a growth trajectory.

Funding Usage
we will use the funds to get caught up on debt and be able to stay afloat until the economy comes back around. if it was just me i could fix the problem but everyone in this industry is getting destroyed financially as i would probaly not get approved for a loan as my credit score has dropped for high balances even if i could recieve a loan id be climbing even deeper into debt
-
Business Plan
i plan to grow my buisness as i did for over a decade better each year my only hicupp and down trend was covid pandemic and from there the economy but i would hire more help to give better service and thrive by reaching more customers in the communities around me because i am a hard working dedicated small buissness owner that has worked tirely to grow from a person that had to drop out of high school to take care of family after getting my ged at 16 years of age i have worked three job till i opened my first buisness at the age of 23
-
Self Identified Competition
my top competitors out rank me in financial funds as i believe my food is equal if not better they have the funds to have a beautiful setting above mine but in the same they are suffering as well as over the years i have met and talked to many of them my work ethic and determination and the ability to be frugal in times of distress
