Robin's Nest & Stuff LLC | Application Preview
Robin's Nest & Stuff LLC is seeking government grants to support its mission of promoting healthy living and sustainability within the community. The funding will primarily be allocated towards expanding housing, acquiring land, and purchasing farming and bath product supplies.
The business is leveraging social media and personal connections to grow its reach, with plans to buy more land for farming. This initiative aims to foster community involvement in creating a healthy environment through food production, education, and housing—integral components of a holistic approach to well-being.
The applicant presents a ten-year vision focused on housing, feeding, educating, employing, and entertaining the community while prioritizing environmental consciousness. Sustainability and continuous improvement of products are key tenets of their approach. During the challenges of COVID-19, the business has found success in providing samples for feedback as a marketing strategy.
In terms of competition, Robin's Nest identifies "Big Box" stores as its primary rivals, emphasizing the importance of online shopping in the current market. However, it argues that many larger competitors fail to engage meaningfully with the community despite professing such values in their mission statements. The company distinguishes itself by actively participating in community support, such as donating masks and growing food organically.
Through these efforts, Robin's Nest & Stuff LLC aims to build a legacy that future generations can take pride in, while maintaining a strong connection to community values and sustainable practices.

Business Plan
I'm currently growing my business through Social Media and word of mouth. I plan to purchase more land to grow our business to help my community in healthy living. Encourage community involvement in creating healthy environment with food, then education, then housing. All which are very important to a complete person. This is the beginning of a 10 year goal is to house, feed, educate, employ, and entertain my communities. All while living an environmentally conscious existence on or near large body of water and land. Sustainability is the main objective. Farming, living, educating, employing. Starting my business with the most modest capital. Giving sample away for constructive criticisms is the most effective marketing strategy amidst COVID-19 season. Another one of my goals is to always improve my products. Self care is the new 'normal'. Whether it our living areas, healthy eating and working to improve our environment is paramount. Add more natural/nature to our World.

Self Identified Competition
During this season everyone is shopping online. Many options are being offered to shoppers. Multiple options in choosing a product. Where the product is located and how soon will it arrive to my location? Will it be safe and wrapped like new? How much is the shipping to/from cost. Recovery options. My competitors are the 'Big Box' stores. In most competitors Mission Statement there's mention of giving back to the community. I do not see any commercial influences where they help in my community or any others that I've traveled. I don't see small businesses being 'openly funded' by my competitors. I see yards sales, consignment stores, or mission stores in my community. What I do not see is competitors coming to communities, schools, centers to 'give away' items to the community in which the competitors say is part the their mission. Perhaps on paper. I communicate with my community. Using my crafts as examples to practice COVID-19 restriction by making 3 layer face masks with in my business. Making donations to all who needed them. Growing food in the most organic way possible in my backyard and posting photos on social media. Utilizing natural Essential Oils for my bath products with the FDA guidelines in the forefront. I will grow my business to be something generations will be proud to be a part. In developing, growing and maintaining the integrity of Robin's Nest & Stuff, LLC.
