Kentucky Prepper Network LLC 86-2872131 | Government Grant Application

Kentucky Prepper Network LLC | Application Preview

Kentucky Prepper Network LLC is applying for government grants to enhance its operational capabilities. The funding will be used to secure a more suitable location, purchase a fleet of 2 to 3 vehicles and trailers, acquire necessary equipment for freeze-dried goods production, provide training for employees and volunteers, and cover operating expenses.

The business plan outlines a 5-year strategy that includes opening a retail shop to generate income, establishing a warehouse for preparing freeze-dried foods for sale or disaster relief, and maintaining a fleet of vehicles for emergency response. The company aims to create a community space for club members to learn, network, and volunteer for disaster relief efforts. Additionally, Kentucky Prepper Network plans to offer construction, consultation, and counseling services.

The proposal argues for funding approval based on Kentucky’s lack of similar comprehensive service providers. The company boasts a growing online presence, with over 600 Facebook members and an increasing number of website memberships. The organization is committed to collaborating with various agencies to support both prevention and relief initiatives. With established interest and a customer base, they believe that financial assistance would significantly accelerate their business development.

Kentucky Prepper Network identifies minimal competition for their full range of offered services, aside from larger suppliers in the freeze-dried goods market. Their competitive advantage lies in their intent to deliver an integrated package of services, aiming to develop a successful model in Kentucky before expanding regionally and nationally.

  • Funding Usage

Funding would be used to provide the company with location better suited to its needs, a fleet of 2 or 3 vehicles and trailers, equipment and resources for the freeze dried goods, training for employees and volunteers, and operating expenses.

  • Business Plan

Over the next 5 years the business will have a retail shop to bring in income, a warehouse where it would prepare freeze dried foods for sale or donations in event of a disaster, have a fleet of response vehicles and command/relief trailers to aid federal and state agencies in natural disasters and provide members of the club a area where they can learn and network with each other, learn new skills, and sign up to volunteer in case of disaster relief effort. We would also like to offer construction and consultation services as well as counseling services. In the state of Kentucky there are not many other companies offering all the same services that we are offering. We already have a strong online presence with our Facebook at over 600 members this year, and the website is growing with memberships everyday. We are willing to work with other agencies to aid with not only prevention but relief efforts. The interest level is there, the customer base is already established, and we are prepared to continue this on our own but it will be a slow tedious process, with financial assistance we could put our business plan on the fast track to success .

  • Self Identified Competition

In the state of Kentucky there are no major competitors that offer every service we wish to offer. The major competitors on the freeze dried good portion of the business would be your big box suppliers. We want to be the first to offer all these services as a package deal. Once we establish a network to use as a example in Kentucky, we wish to move on to a regional level, then a national.
