O Vending | Application Preview
O Vending is applying for government grants to recover from the challenges posed by 2020 and expand its operations to multiple locations. The funding will help the business provide affordable and sustainable snacks and drinks, including water, to low-income children, fostering community support.
Despite being relatively new, O Vending is driven by the desire to make a positive impact after being significantly affected by the pandemic. The owner emphasizes that the difficulties faced during COVID-19, particularly the shutdown of small businesses, highlighted the importance of community assistance. O Vending has initiated a "pay it forward" system, allowing customers to donate snacks and extra change to support those in need.
The application argues that there are no direct competitors with a similar donation system, giving O Vending a unique advantage. The business prioritizes serving low-income areas while combining sustainability and affordability, positioning itself as a community-focused venture. With the requested funding, O Vending aims to not only recover but also thrive in giving back to the community.

Business Plan
Expand to multiple locations. Afford to contribute more in the community by offering low income children with accessible and sustainable snacks and drinks including water. We are fairly new; however, our drive is even stronger. Due to the huge hit we took in 2020 we were unable to meet many financial goals in an up and coming business adventure. This could have discouraged us. The struggle only pull us forward with hope! COVID-19 and the subsequently drastic changes that occurred in everyone’s lives was substantial, to say at least. Horrific to many families! The shut down of small businesses such as myself, caused too many lives to become without income and for our family that hit us deep! I realized that we could start up a second, more essential, way to help the community we lived in. Many of the products that we pull on a daily bases will be donated to those in our community as well as any snacks left in our “pay it forward” bucket, many even donate extra change! If you helped our small business we could thrive, not only as individuals but as a community!

Self Identified Competition
We have no competitors currently with the same donation system behind it. Our community is our top priority. We target low income areas. Providing options that have both sustainability and affordability factors.
