The usage of these funds would help to secure a location to run classes for clients, purchase supplies needed to run classes and provide take home material for the clients. This grant would also help to furnish the location should it need to be furnished. The materials needed would be papers and materials to make packets for clients, computer and printer to help clients get the proper documents. Cooking supplies teach cooking classes, hygiene and laundry supplies to help clients who need these materials and are unsure how to use it, help with transportation to services like mental health or primary care services.

In the next 5 years I plan to expand to different cities and states. Partner with different organizations and companies to help provide support for their clients. I want to see a steady increase in teens and young adults who are more prepared and aware of all of the opportunities that are available to them and to teach life skills that they can use and apply to their every day life. Building them up to break generational barriers when it’s comes to poverty, parenting, household care, and personal/mental health services. My company is geared to break down a life time of barriers for clients. My targeted age is teens and young adults who are unaware of how to manage bills, savings, mental health and personal health stigmas, ways to parent and maintain a home. Courageous hearts is going to change the lives of so many children and help promote healthy habits so that our future leaders have a fighting chance for change.

Our clients will get one on one services along with classes to make sure that they are applying the teaching plus getting the services they need. Courageous hearts is here to help navigate the system and make sure they are learning something new.
