The business is seeking government grants to support its operations, focusing on restocking retail supplies and funding continued education. The owner aims to create a welcoming salon environment where clients can trust that their hair will be well cared for. Unlike typical salons, this business plans to offer a variety of services and educational classes to empower both the owner and other stylists in the community.
The owner argues that receiving funding would significantly enhance the business's growth. As a young stylist, the owner feels a lack of mentorship in the industry and is committed to self-education to improve skills and services offered.
The business faces competition from established chains like Great Clips, Hair Masters, and Sports Clips. However, its unique approach sets it apart. It focuses on addressing scalp and hair loss issues, an area often overlooked by local salons. This commitment to helping clients with specific hair concerns is the business's competitive advantage.

Business Plan
I plan On doing a lot more in my business I want It to be one of those salons that u feel at home at, and one u can come to knowing your hair will be healthy.I don’t want to be subject to just one thing like most salons. I plan To have more educational classes not only for myself but for me to help other stylist grow there business. Helping me with funding would really put my business where it needs to be. As a young stylist in the industry we really don’t have help and mentors to teach us things so I have To educate myself.

Self Identified Competition
Great Clips, Hair Masters, And Sports Clips. Well I’m doing something nobody else is doing. Yes there are a lot of hairstylist in my community but no one is helping people who have scalp and hair loss problems. It’s easy to do a hair style but are they really helping those clients hair grow back and that’s what I strive For.
