Business Plan
I plan on being the Martha Stewart of my generation and bringing diversity in an industry that you don't see often. I will have a home decor line and also a thriving interior design business and be featured all over magazines and on television. The goal is to then give back to communities where homes aren't safe and people need to feel value. I am adopted so I know the value of a safe place. I want to share that story with others and help to get this homeless situation settled in the usa. There is no one like me. I know my story and my vision will be the one to inspire everyone and also bring about this peace needed in our world. it starts in your home and how you feel. A lot of companies say they want to invest in minority owned businesses but I'm an African American women who left a 6 figure salary to pursue my passion. it's imperative we show the youth and others that people that look like me are worth investing in.

Self Identified Competition
I believe that I am my own competition. Other big box retailers, offering home design services for free like West Elm. I don't come from much. i was raised by a single mother of 3 children in NYC and i was adopted because my birth mother has HIV and is addicted to drugs and father is abusive and went to jail. I was the youngest and the only person in my family to go to college. I want to rewrite my family story + create generational wealth. i also want to be the example for other kids in foster homes, group homes, that are adopted to know that you can make it out of any situation if you have heart and are persistent and listen to God. I used to wonder why those things happened to me but i realized they did so that i can bring peace of mind and comfort to other peoples homes. I didn't even know interior design was a career until i purchased my first house (also the first in my family to do so before 30). people saw my vision and asked me to design their homes. I was juggling my passion and a full time career at Nike HQ designing shoes before they let me go. That was the eye opened i needed to pursue this fulltime and live out my dream. Every day is a blessing and i know i had a vision and story people need to see and experience and i pray this pandemic doesn't kill my dream before it truly starts.
