Joselyn Covey Antics 92-3933830 | Government Grant Application

Joselyn Covey Antics | Application Preview

Joselyn Covey Antics is seeking government funding to cover the initial construction costs for building semi-private and private service suites at a new location. The goal is to create a flexible, well-equipped space where independent service providers can operate their businesses in a supportive, professional environment.

Her business model is designed to serve a range of professionals—such as those in beauty, wellness, or tattoo industries—by offering a hybrid setup that combines autonomy with a communal, cross-promotional atmosphere. This model responds to a gap in the market where current options are either too expensive, too rigid, or too limited in amenities.

Joselyn highlights her experience, strong work ethic, and familiarity with small business operations as key strengths. She presents her venture as low-risk due to multiple income streams from various tenants, rather than reliance on a single operator. Her plan emphasizes sustainability, inclusivity, and a scalable infrastructure that supports both service providers and their clients.

She sees this project as a unique contribution to underserved professionals by offering a thoughtfully-designed, modern, and affordable space—something not yet offered at this scale in the market.

  • Funding Usage

I plan to use these funds for initial construction costs to build out semi-private and fully private service suites at a prospective new location.

  • Business Plan

I plan to grow my business as a safe and reputable location for many different service industries. I want to provide some top amenities that supports the individual service providers as well as for their clients. I want to create a sustainable environment with responsible savings to protect this venture. Investing in me means investing in a proven operator, in high-demand industries, and a scalable model. I am building infrastructure for independent service providers who already exist and are underserved. The demand is there, the revenue streams are diversified, and the risk is mitigated through multi-renter income rather than full reliance on one single operator. I was raised in small businesses and have the drive and work ethic to make this real. There is such a need for people in my and similar industries and I want to create an environment that better supports them and their clients.

  • Self Identified Competition

My top competitors consist of salons, tattoo shops, or other commercial office spaces for rent. What does not exist is a hybrid format that fits the needs of all. This allows renters to maintain their autonomy within their own business, but to work in a more communal environment designed for cross promotion and support. I am different because this business model on this scale does not currently exist. Each specific industry is maintained within their own service type, only offer high-commission payout which eliminates autonomy, or lacks affordability without proper amenities to operate, and cleanliness in a curated future-forward environment. With my business model I can accommodate the needs of so many providers while giving them a beautiful and sustainable place to grow their businesses.
