Raza Electric LLC | Application Preview
Raza Electric LLC is seeking government grant funding to support startup costs for its electrical contracting business. The funds will cover necessary expenses such as tools, a trailer, a workspace, materials, work apparel, and training. The company’s goal is to partner with electric vehicle manufacturers, smart home device companies, and solar providers to support innovation and sustainable technology within the community.
Driven by a strong work ethic and a deep commitment to community service, the owner aims to serve underrepresented groups, including low-income individuals, veterans, and minorities, while delivering high-quality electrical services. With a background shaped by mentorship and hands-on experience in electrical work, the founder aspires to give back by mentoring future generations and investing in community initiatives like school support, food drives, and winter clothing programs.
Rather than viewing others in the industry as competition, Raza Electric embraces collaboration with fellow contractors to promote shared growth and learning. The business’s unique perspective as a first-generation, minority-owned startup with strong community values serves as its key differentiator and motivation for seeking support.

Business Plan
As an Electrician/Electrical contractor I plan on reaching out to various Electric Vehicle companies, smart home device companies, and solar providers to help my community take that next step in innovation and technology. I was taught at a young age to never settle and always keep learning. I was influenced to always help those in need, in any way possible. I truly care for the well being of my community and the people that live in it. I was raised in a strong, hardworking and reliable work ethic without putting others in harms way. I have had the privilege of working under great mentors in the electrical field as well as seeing the ins and outs of electrical innovation and would like to apply all of my knowledge and wisdom into my business. I would apply all these virtuous into my business and provide an eminent service to my community especially those with low economic status, veterans, and minorities. In the future, I would like to mentor the upcoming generation in hopes to inspire them to work hard and always strive for more.
-
Self Identified Competition
I do not see any fellow electrical contractors as competitors, rather comrades in the trade. I would love to collaborate with other contractors and business owners in hopes to learn from each other and succeed together. I come from a low income, minority family that is a first generation business owner. In the future I would like to give back to my community including helping schools, food drives, and winter appeal for children in need.
