Operating as a Kitchen Tune-Up franchise, the company taps into a growing market of budget-conscious homeowners seeking affordable kitchen and home remodeling solutions.
Leveraging a proven business model, industry-leading training, and a network of experienced professionals, Freedom Restoration aims to expand through strategic partnerships—such as with local Chambers of Commerce—and targeted marketing. The business also serves the commercial real estate sector, offering tailored solutions.
The applicant emphasizes a strong commitment to both personal development and community impact, noting enrollment in business programs like Co.Starters to strengthen entrepreneurial skills. The operation prioritizes local sourcing, hires from within the region, and focuses on delivering value to low-income homeowners—stimulating local economic growth in the process.

Business Plan
There is a large and growing number of homeowners that are finding it harder and harder to find solutions to Kitchen and Home remodels because of cost.We are tapped into that market and I have access to a large pool of talent that I plan on hiring. Thru effective marketing and partnering with organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce we will grow our business in this area. Specifically because this is a Kitchen Tune Up franchise we have extensive business training and a proven model for growth that we are following. One area we are targeting with some success is commercial real estate and land management companies. I have a lot of experience in my industry and Im committed to learning and growing my business skills. This is the reason I bought into the franchise model. They have one of the best systems anywhere and ere rated #1 in there industry. I am also taking business courses such as costarters.co because I realize that business owners arent the same as self employed or owner operaters. The skills needed to build a business are different than those needed to work as an employee. We have a significant local impact because everything we buy is sourced locally and our employees are local as well as our clients. We focus on lower income homeowners and can provide solutions that are significantly cheaper than the alternatives which in turn help to stimulate the local economy. We have gone thru the hard things before and we know that this is not easy but it is worth it. We have invested everything we have into this and we are beyond committed to making it work. We will not give up until it does.

Self Identified Competition
We dont have any competitors in the refacing industry in this area. Our biggest competitor in new cabinets are the big box stores such as Menards. They sell very low end products for very low margins. We are in a unique industry and we sell custom quality solid wood products at very competitive prices to the box stores We really truly care about the client experience and our number one goal is to make the client happy. Their are other companies I have worked with that dont seem to care about the quality of their employees or how the customer is treating. Here that is the number one focus of our business. Also as I mentioned we have solutions for lower income families and can usually provide a lifetime warranty. Our focus is improving the quality of life for South Dakota families and an unexpected benefit to a remodel is usually more social interaction such as hosting. This is great for the local community. If you havent picked it up by now, we are very passionate about that.
