BJ's Brushless Carwash, LLC | Application Preview
BJ's Brushless Carwash, LLC is seeking government grant funding to enhance services for senior citizens. The current carwash setup requires customers to exit their vehicles and walk approximately 150 feet, which is not user-friendly. The intended improvements include upgrading equipment, signage, and increasing handicap accessibility.
The business recently adjusted its model, and while it has not yet reached its full potential, modest revenue growth is expected over the next couple of years with minor changes. The funding would help accommodate more customers effectively and efficiently.
The applicant recognizes that there may always be others in greater need of funding. However, they emphasize their commitment to the business's success, noting a strong track record of on-time debt repayment, loyal employees, and dedicated customers.
In terms of competition, BJ's operates as the only car wash with employees in Alliance. While there are automated car washes nearby, they do not directly compete for the same customer base. The applicant highlights their unique approach to service, emphasizing personal interaction and thorough cleaning while customers wait. They also offer discounts for seniors and veterans, further distinguishing their business in the local market.

Funding Usage
I'm hoping to acquire funds to assist in serving our senior citizen population better. Our current conveyor that pushes the cars through isn't "customer friendly" meaning that customers have to exit their vehicle and walk approximately 150 feet before getting back in their vehicle. I'm trying to upgrade equipment, signage, and handicap accessibility to accommodate customers better.

Business Plan
A recent change in the business model nearly 2 years ago is still ramping up and hasn't plateaued yet. I should see a minor increase in revenue over the next 2 years for sure with minimal changes. I'm hoping to increase that by being able to accommodate more customers, more efficiently. I'm sure that there is always someone out there who needs funding more than myself. I'm sure that there is someone out there who works as hard and is as dedicated to their business as I am, but; I can assure that this business is successful and will remain successful. I have loyal employees and loyal customers and haven't missed a payment on any debt in decades. I know how to manage a business and finances. I will not acquire any debt that I am not confident that I will be able to pay back.

Self Identified Competition
There are several touch-less, automated facilities in my city, but no other business such as mine. I am the only car wash facility with employees in the city of Alliance. My customers are generally within 10 miles of my business and there are no other business offering the same services in that radius. So, for my immediate area, I have similar business, but not really any competition. In an extended area, 15 mile radius, there are a couple few other carwashes that are similar, but we do not overlap in customers, so I can't really consider them competition. My business is different because I still conduct business the way it used to be. Elbow grease and hard work keep our customer's coming back. We go the extra mile to make sure that every customer is satisfied with the services we provide. We offer discounts for seniors and veterans also. We are the only business in the area that still cleans the inside of vehicles while the customer waits. I have the only carwash in my city that has employees.
