According to the National Center for Education Statistics, 10 out of the 28 top fastest-growing careers could be pursued with vocational training. I intend to expand training to encompass; Carpentry/Electricity Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) Automotive repair Studies have shown that at risk individuals, who are not trained in a vocational skill, are more likely to be disruptive in the neighborhood, community, society as a whole. We serve in low income and urban communities to help individuals discover their unique talents and contributions, determine their options in domestic living, family planning and community partnerships. We aim to support individuals and communities seeking to gain knowledge and awareness in basic living, structure and service. We assist with identifying and matching an individual’s interests to available jobs and vocations options. We arrange for aptitude tests and assess; education, domestic and professional work history and personality traits to help the client make career decisions. Provide entrepreneur talents and creativity workshops to equip, empower, and employ men and women to support their families, neighborhoods and communities. We provide First Aid/CPR/AED training and certifications.The training program includes supplemental, add-on training modules for more advanced training and certification in key topics, including OSHA-mandated courses. Our Skills Training offers aspiring nurses hoping to take on entry-level jobs in healthcare take advantage of courses such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training or Basic Life Support (BLS) training. Our program teaches clients with social-emotional, as well as interpersonal skills they might not otherwise get in a traditional classroom. We supports the DOC and places a significant focus on the rehabilitation and re-entry division.
