Oneness Clothing | Application Preview

Oneness Clothing is seeking government grants to launch its eco-friendly clothing line, focusing on three t-shirt styles: oversized t-shirts, cinched t-shirt dresses, and crop tops. The funding breakdown includes $2,500 for bulk purchasing the first t-shirt order, $700-$1,400 for screen printing and sublimation, $1,500 for a professional website, $1,200 for clothing photography, $1,000 for modeling, $2,000 for brand ambassadors, and $400 for biodegradable shipping materials.

The business plan outlines a five-year growth strategy:

- In the first year, Oneness Clothing aims to reduce production costs with bulk buying and prioritize eco-friendly materials, specifically hemp, to emphasize a fresh and professional look. - The second year focuses on building brand awareness through targeted brand ambassadors and features in local magazines and podcasts, promoting the use of sustainable materials. - In the third year, the plan is to diversify offerings with unique pieces and lifetime warranty bags. - The fourth year involves transitioning to a sustainably sourced factory to better control material processing. - By the fifth year, the goal is to establish Oneness Clothing as a globally recognized brand associated with empowerment, women’s issues, and high fashion.

The founder expresses a deep personal connection to the brand, emphasizing its inclusivity, environmental consciousness, and spirit. With a background in graphic design and diverse professional experiences, the founder believes these qualities position Oneness Clothing favorably against competitors like H&M Conscious, PACT, and Patagonia. The competitive edge lies in targeting younger generations with thoughtfully designed clothing that incorporates art and promotes social awareness, all while maintaining a stylish and empowering brand image.

  • Business Plan

Here is a summary of how I plan to grow my business. 1st year: My biggest aim is to buy my first set of clothing in bulk to reduce cost. Eco-friendly materials are not yet popular and can be costly. My line will first feature t-shirts in three styles: Oversized t-shirts, cinched t-shirt dresses, and crop tops. I will seek out hemp materials, as they are carbon negative, provide UV protection, and are biodegradable. Creating a professional and fresh appearance will be focused on. 2nd year: During my second year, the focus will be on gaining wide spread attention. I will first start with using carefully picked brand ambassadors to creative allure. I will also go after opportunities to get my designs featured in local magazines, online blogs, and mentioned in environmental friendly/woman entrepreneur podcasts. We will popularize the use of eco-friendly materials and push other companies to do the same. 3rd year: Our third year will focus on expansion. We will offer different styles, pieces, and become more diversified as a whole. We will offer one-of-a-kind pieces, multi-use items, and 'forever strong' lifetime warranty bags. 4th year: During our fourth year, we will switch from outsourcing pre-made materials and customizing them, to having our own sustainably sourced factory. This way, we cut out the middle man and get a better hold on how our materials are being processed. 5th year: Focus on creating a globally recognized brand that is associated with 'empowerment' versus 'charity', woman's issues, artist representation, and high fashion. The reason you should invest in me is because this brand is an embodiment of who I am, and you really can't go wrong when dealing with the true human spirit. We are inclusive, environmental conscious, and soulful. We seek to popularize the use of eco-friendly materials in all aspects of life, and you should too! I was led to my clothing brand in the 24 years that I have been alive. I studied graphic design in 2014 and received a certificate of completion in it. Since then, I have ran companies, worked in high end retail, opened an eco-friendly cleaning business, started a career as a music artist, and helped to launch an online fashion boutique. I have the experience to make this dream a success.
