Second Chance Recovery Home | Application Preview
Second Chance Recovery Home is applying for government grants to support its mission of providing a safe and sober living environment for up to 10 women seeking recovery. The program aims to enhance the participants' experience by facilitating access to outside counseling, case management, peer services, drug testing, community referrals, job placement, and educational assistance.
The business plan focuses on maintaining consistent attendance for 12 months, with a vision to expand within two years to open a second home that will provide advanced services for mothers in need of sober living, allowing them to keep their children with them.
The need for funding is emphasized by the scarcity of sober living options for women in Greeley, often forcing those seeking help to relocate. Currently, there are only two other sober living homes for women in the area, both of which quickly reach capacity and have waiting lists. Unlike these facilities, Second Chance Recovery Home offers a non-faith-based approach and can accommodate individuals on medication-assisted treatment (MAT), providing a competitive edge in meeting the diverse needs of the community.

Business Plan
To successfully maintain attendance of 10 women for 12 calendar months and plan to expand within two years for a second home providing advanced services opened up to mothers needing sober living services along with allowing them to have their children reside with them. This is something that is truly needed in our community. Women that are seeking help in our community are often forced to change cities due to the lack of sober living homes for females in Greeley.
-
Self Identified Competition
There are only two other sober living homes for women in Greeley. First sober living is the Wendt House which is owned and operated by North Range Behavioral Health and the second is A Way Home for Women. Both fill up fast and have waiting lists. A Way Home for Women is strictly faith based and some of our clientele are not. Second Chance Recovery Home offers non faith based supportive care along with the acceptance of individuals on MAT.
