Her Chi Culture, LLC | Application Preview
Her Chi Culture, LLC is applying for government grants to help launch a clothing line specifically for female athletes, fund additional staff during the girls' basketball season, and maintain their website. The business aims to expand by offering monthly parent classes, private assistance for parents and athletes, and a wider range of clothing options, with the intention of eventually branching into other sports.
The grant is sought due to the critical need for increased media coverage of girls' sports in Chicago, as current local newspapers do not feature any stories about girls' basketball or other sports. This lack of visibility hinders the growth of the sport and diminishes opportunities for young women seeking college sports scholarships. The founder is deeply invested in promoting women's athletics within the city, viewing this initiative as a vital mission.
There is currently no competition in this niche, as local media outlets are not covering girls' sports. Her Chi Culture's competitive advantage lies in its commitment to supporting parents and female athletes in Chicago, filling a significant gap in the market.

Business Plan
The plan is to grow by Providing additional parent classes monthly, open options for private assistance for parents and athletes, continue to expand the clothing line by adding various pieces for female athletes. We also would like to expand to other sports. There is truly a need for media coverage of girls sports within the city of Chicago. There are currently no coverage of girls basketball or any other sports in the newspaper which effects the ability to grow the game and provide additional opportunities for girls to be recruited for college sports scholarships. This is truly a labor of love that I truly believe in and that is necessary for the promotion of young women with the city of Chicago.

Self Identified Competition
