Innocent Hearts Crime and Corruption 85-3460296 | Government Grant Application

Innocent Hearts Crime and Corruption | Application Preview

Innocent Hearts Crime and Corruption is seeking government grants to support their mission of investigating and recovering victims of human trafficking and other crimes against women and children. The funds will be used for various activities, such as searches and investigative services, recovery operations, and providing necessary support and supplies for victims. The organization aims to assist families who cannot afford investigative services, especially in cases where police leads have run dry.

Over the next five years, the organization plans to expand beyond Louisiana and establish chapters in other states to maximize their reach. With financial support, they envision creating a streamlined operation dedicated to tackling these pressing issues effectively.

Innocent Hearts argues for funding approval by emphasizing its commitment to prioritizing victims and addressing the growing threat of human trafficking. They see other organizations in the field as partners rather than competitors, drawing inspiration from established organizations like Polaris, Trafficking Hope Inc., and Metanoia.

What sets Innocent Hearts apart is their comprehensive approach, combining research and advocacy with the essential investigative services needed to locate victims, conduct rescue missions, and work collaboratively with other organizations for follow-up assistance. They also focus on a broader range of crimes against women and children, including abuse and neglect, thus providing a wide array of services to support various victims and contribute to the prosecution of offenders.

  • Funding Usage

We plan to use the funds to fund our mission of investigating, tracking down, and recovering victims of human trafficking and other crimes against women and children. This incudes searches, investigative services, recovery operations, as well as services and supplies for these victims. This helps families who can not afford extra investigative services in cases where the police have no more leads, or the case went cold. Example: there was a missing boy in Mississippi, we used our own funds to travel there, conduct a search, and provide answers to a mother who did not have any answers before we traveled there.

  • Business Plan

In the next 5 years we plan to expand out of Louisiana and create more chapters in different states. We want to be able to reach as many people as we can. With funding, we can become the lead in this fight. In 5 years, we plan to have a whole operation, where plays their own role, to make the organization run smoothly and more effective. Investors should invest in our organization because we put these victims before ourselves. Our whole mission is to investigate, find, and provide services to Human Trafficking victims. This issue is continuing to grow, and without help, this will get out of hand. We are here to take a stand in this fight.

  • Self Identified Competition

We do not see other organizations as competitors, we see them as partners and other sources for us to reach out too. But if we had to name three, it would be Polaris, Trafficking Hope Inc., and Metanoia. We look up to these organizations for what they do, and if we could work together it would be better than being competitors. We are different than other organizations, because not only do we conduct research, provide education, and advocate against human trafficking and crimes against women and children, we do all of that plus provide the investigative services needed to locate these rings and the victims, conduct rescue missions, and then coordinate with other organizations to provide these victims with the help and services they require. We do not only focus on Human Trafficking, we also include other crimes against women and children, such as rape, incest, abuse, and neglect, which does not fall into the Human Trafficking category. We provide a wide variety of services that helps a large amount of victims, as well as helps in arrests of traffickers and abusers.
